The war in Tafatu was finally over. Now it was time to tend to the people at home. Many were anxious, and some were loudly demanding at protests, that the soldiers return to their families. What's more, the industry couldn't keep supplying an active army of such a size. This meant that the first order of business in post-war recovery was demobilization.
By a Directive of the Princess, the Royal Army would be reduced to peace-time strength, demobilizing 600,000 Light Infantry, returning the soldiers into the civilian workforce, and placing their weapons and equipment into storage. Same would happen to 20,000 Standard Infantry and 2,500 Bicycle Infantry.
