While the construction for the new Ashinaran branch of the UKUG Studebaker automobile company was being built, the government has provided the design team of the company temporary offices on one of the Royal Army bases, and tasked them with their first commission. But first of all, however, it's been decided, as outlined in the contract that brought Studebaker to Ashinara in the first place, what badge would the cars come out under - Shkoda (pronounced - Sh-koh-dah), with the emblem being a version of the National Trident of Ashinara, stylized to resemble the Ashinaran letter for the "SH" sound - "ะจ".
The first commission was to design a truck chassis, with the following requirements:
-Width of no more than 8 feet -Wheel base of no more than 12 feet -Adaptability for multiple purpose variants, including flatbed, dumper, bus, ambulance and more -Ability to navigate tight city streets
