Shiraori smiled slightly and firmly shook his hand. "Of course. The last thing we want is another reason for Galra to dislike either of us."
Reito happily shook the Koian's hand, thrilled to be included. "Your visits are always a pleasure."

"It's a pleasure to finally have you in the meetings." He'd give her a smile. "And it's good to know what the hand of the future Empress is like for future deals. Just like your mother's, though not yet weighted by running the largest maritime fleet in the world."
His aide would suddenly clasp the briefcase shut, having filed away all the papers while they were shaking hands. As the aide set the case by their side, their stomach would audibly rumble. Vidrik would stare for a moment before bursting out into a hearty laugh.
He'd turn back to the two royals with a smile. "I guess I have yet one more request before we depart. Where would be a good place to have some of the local cuisine before we have to ship out? And would the two of you care to join?"

"Curry is always a good choice." Shiraori offered with a placid smile. "I can have my guard clear out a local hotspot. I would hate for anything to get in the way of your enjoyment of local Kumo cuisine."
"Ooh, Always Katsu?!" Reito cheered. "If you like fried meats there's no better chef for it than Hatanaka. She's an artist. Her chicken katsu curry is to die for."

The aide would stare at Vidrik, him having to say something to them in Koian, definitely talking about the chicken as there doesn't seem to be a native Koian word for it as they say "chicken" mixed with their mother tongue, before they'd nod and say something back. Vidrik would turn back to the two of them. "While I will be okay with chicken to have the local cuisine, my aide here is a vegetarian. Does this katsu curry also come in a vegetable or tofu form?"

Reito held back a veneer of disgust at the thought of a vegetarian before her. "Unfortunately vegetarian meals are not exactly popular in Kumosenkan. Your average Kumo needs to eat two pounds of meat a day to maintain homeostasis."
"Every curry comes with a lot of vegetables though! I'm sure you could just order a curry with no meat." Reito pitched, lurching forward to take the initiative. "There's even a local farmers market right next door. If they have tofu I'm sure the chef would happily fry it for you."

The aide would simply nod, falling in line with the rest of the group.
Vidrik would turn to the two ladies, smiling. "And don't worry, I'll cover lunch for you two. I did show up and take up your time without much warning."

"Oh there's no reason to worry about that." Shiraori waved off the offer. "The Empress and her friends never need pay for anything. The restaurant will be compensated in other ways I assure you."
"Anytime you are visiting Kumosenkan you don't need to even bring money. Everyone is happy to serve you." Reito also assured. "Shall we go?" Her voice was excited as she and her mother stood to escort Vidrik outside.

Vidrik would let out a chuckle. "Guess I didn't need to spend that time at the bank getting my hands on some Yairen before we left then."
He'd bow lightly to Reito, his aide following suite in a slightly deeper bow. "Lead the way, Princess."

"Gladly!" Reito cheered and made her way to guide everyone out of the palace and to the Empress's car.
"If you wish I can have that exchanged back to Jewels as we eat," Shiraori assured as she followed after Reito. Everyone piled was invited to pile into the beast of a vehicle.

"Nah nah, it's all good." He'd smile to assure Shiraori. "I can keep it on me for my next visit."
The two would climb into the car after the Empress and the Princess, the guards that had stationed themselves around Palace grounds falling back to their truck and climbing in, following behind the car and likely the Empress's own guards.
