Per order 1A-434 requested by the War Department and Morgan Sheffield, approved by the Senate. The Marrlan Airforce is the newest arm to defend the Republic and her allies. New air technology has slightly eluded the Marrish people, but they have nonetheless created an impressive arsenal of aircraft.
Scout/Seaplane
Newman Gullwing MR-1
"Sea wing"
Created with consideration to the extensive Marrlan coast and to be used in its navy, the Sea Wing was created with a powerful Kendall engine that gives it a very quick takeoff from the water and impressive speed. It's equipped with a single POS-24 belt fed machine gun. It has a rider who can take photos, relay communications back to friendly forces or drop small grenades.

Newman Strike craft MR-3
"Albatross"
The primary fighter of the Marrlan Airforce, the Albatross is a powerful fighter that can fill light, heavy and even scout roles when needed. It uses an experimental engine created by the Marrlan military that gives the aircraft immense climbing power and speed despite it being a bi-plane. It is equipped with dual MPM-31 belt fed machine guns and a rear gunner uses a 180 degree mounted Chunker machine gun made specially for the Airforce. The Albatross patrols the Marrlan skies regularly and is projected to do well against other bi-planes.

Roebuck Tern bomber MR-4
A newer model aircraft introduced into the Airforce to fulfill heavy bomber needs, the Tern is powered by heavy duty Jeanne-Arthur engines made just for the bomber. The forward and rear gunners have Chunker MG 180' turrets for protection against enemy fighters. The Tern can drop heavy payloads of 2,000 pounds, its biggest weakness is the slow flight of the craft leaving it desperately in need of escorts.
McCarron Star Wolf "Rosark model" MR-3R
Similar to the UKUG variant, the Rosark Star Wolf has a smaller engine, inbody machine guns and has great top speed but in sacrifice for engine power. The fighter is licensed to both Marrlan and Roskana for construction following the SU formation.
Newman Experimental Fighter
Warshark MR-6
Based on UKUG tech, this pusher monocraft has the very ambitious if not very expensive goal of replacing the Albatross. It comes with the HSMG being it dual pairs to deliver devastating firepower. The fighter is still in the development phases however and likely won't see much use until the Senate green lights its large price tag. With the outbreak of the great war, the Warshark has finished its trials and been introduced to the war as a true rival to the older MR-3. It alongside the Starwolf are quickly replacing the old workhorse domestically through a mix of attrition and proper replacement. Though, the Albatross remains in production for export to friendly nations, primarily those in Touli.
