Development Thread on the Development and Workings of Touli Nations
This thread only deals with NPC states and as a way to show their advancements through time.

Republic of Robretho
The tiny nation wouldn't have much of note. However, their expansive nature reserves have found their national coffers growing from wealthy tourists paying to hunt big game on their grounds. There have been talks among the national legislature to build a better road network within the tiny country, as its current gravel and dirt road network certainly leaves a lot to be desired by the many wealthy residents and tourists.
Xashuece Confederation
In a momentous occasion, the Xashuece Confederation completed its first public works project in the capital of Paruka City. The Paruka City Power Plant, completed in early 1932, finally has its first customers including the capital building, the Presidential Palace, the Piataya Grand Hotel, and the Grebillana Chemical Plant. With these advancements made, the Confederation Government plans to soon have the entire industrial sector of the city connected to help improve the conditions of its workers and bring more money to the capital to expand these projects further.
Federation Xaspesh
With its reintegration of Xagreau lands, the Federation has had its hands full trying to repair the road systems of the breakaway nation. In addition, the nation has seen a few increased investments from Gaelic citizens moving into the area with the construction of the Southern Touli railway, helping to increase the available wealth in the Eastern part of the country to attract potential routes into the small Federation.
Tribes of Smeynia
Not much is known about what is occurring within Smeynia. The tribes seem to be content with their situation currently.
Kithium League
The Kithium League has been busy occupying itself with the creation of roads into the newly conquered Xagreau territory. The process would be slow, mainly using horse-drawn plows to tear up the ground and make patches of dirt that could be stamped down until better road equipment could be brought that far inland...and really the need to do so to arise first to justify the costs.
In the Eastern part of the League, the extension of the Zedonia-Valdera railway would be under construction, the first of the tracks crossing the border while most of the effort is currently going to packing the frozen ground with dirt and rocks to help drainage to prevent the tracks being swept away during the snow melts in the springtimes.
Bianjingren Rebellion
The Rebellion hasn't had a whole lot of success since the South Touli Civil War. Political in-fighting has caused a lack of large development projects for most of the nation, though there have been many repair projects for the cities where the rebellion experienced the most fighting with the UST soldiers. The largest development at this time is an extension of the rail network to include the Eastern coastal town of Tymbirin and the two towns of Xi Molina and Colrighoxian.
Union of South Touli
Cut up and left to fend for itself, the Union of South Touli has been slowly recovering from its defeat in the Civil War. With the funds it received from Kumosenkan investors, the nation has slowly begun to expand its rail and highway networks. With the lessons from the war still fresh within the minds of the new leaders, the nation is slowly having its infrastructure revitalized with a new highway that remains within its new borders, along with a new "high speed" [if a maximum of 40 miles per hour can be considered high speed, which for their older locomotives is fairly high] railroad connecting from Zaliboga to Veneshy, along with some offshoots to nearby towns.
Tafatu Republic
With their new-found independence, the Tafatu has been slowly revitalizing their nation. With the money they made not being forced to go into the hands of corrupt southern politicians, they have made great strides in building a simple rail network between their major cities. Only parts of it have been built thus far, but the progress is great by their standards.
Their road network has had some extensions into neighboring towns, along with a direct paved connection between Tarafan and Do'rville. New roads are being built to connect to some of the towns in the northern parts of the mountains, though these still aren't completed yet.
The Southern part of the country, where the native rebellions were successful, have been more neglected in the revitalization, with the money there only being spent to repair damaged infrastructure and houses, but not much in terms of new infrastructure and opportunities. Despite this, however, the overarching government has taken great care to ensure they're not being forced to pay for the Northern projects so as not to upset them the same way the UST government had upset them into rebellion in the first place.
Shiysil Democratic People's Republic
The Shiysil Democratic People's Republic has seen some massive developments with the influx of Galran investments. The capital of Yuzkatan has seen its first airport completed in late 1932. With this, the Galran cargo airplanes bringing money and supplies have an easier time getting into and out of the country, relying less on the cleared forests that dotted the landscape to give them landing areas. Its rail network has slowly been expanded, though both Galra and Shiysil can tell that their current locomotives are struggling to keep the economy moving. Accidents have become more common, with the railroads being dotted with debris fields from accidents that make the recovery too expensive to consider over just buying new.
With its investments, the military has been seeing new expansions to its arms manufacturing sector, relying on Galran investors and owners to operate the factories producing Galran-licensed firearms to replace their extremely old muskets and single-shot rifles.
Much to the dismay of the poorer classes, these factories are being built with the blood, sweat, and tears of the non-human population of Shiysil, while being staffed by the poorer humans once completed, perpetuating the cycle of poverty for the non-humans as they can't find work outside of near-slavery construction.
Greater Imperium of Eleria
With the riots in Eastern Eleria, many civil projects have been called off in the area to prevent workers from being injured. Many of these projects have shifted focus to the Northern areas of continental Eleria, working to expand the ore extraction industry at the base of the mountains. Along with the shift in focus, the construction of their trans-continental railroad to reach the Eastern part has been put on hold, changing course part of the way back to instead work North to connect the new mines to the port to allow the goods to head back to the home island.
On the home island, the tiny government has been working hard on improving the lives of all the humans on the islands, including the importing of poor far-human workers from the continent to work a project before being shipped back with little money, most of their pay being in food.
With Galran investments, their ports have been slowly extended, allowing for them to service the Galran trade fleets whenever they happen to be in the area. These extensions are expected to be finished in mid-1933.
