Formed following the end of the Pomaz revolution in the 1920's, the Republican Army serves to protect and expand the interests of the Pomazanniki nation.
Pomaz infantry
Most Pomazanniki infantry wear armor and equipment that emboldens their rich history, wearing Okse helmets, padded uniforms that provide them protection from the brutal winters of their homeland and at times animal fur per traditions passed down by their ancestors.
Each infantryman is trained for 4 months in grueling manners, they are pushed to be hardened warriors that adhere to a strict honor code. Everything from long term survival to melee combat is instilled into them.
Typical Pomaz uniform
Bukholov Rifle
The primary firearm of the Republican Army infantry corps, the Bukholov fires a 7mm round cartridge that can be loaded into a six round internal magazine. It is made of materials that make it perform incredibly well in cold environments, but can be ruined in humid hot climates. Can be equipped with a bayonet or ax for melee combat.
Poko MG
A 7mm chambered machine gun that is fed via a drum that attaches on the top. It can lay down suppressive fire with ease but has a weight problem.
Reaver handgun
Made for Pomaz sailors, raiders and officers. This drum magazine fed semi automatic pistol fires a .74mm round in 25 round capacity drums.
Lombrezh short rifle
Made for sailors boarding enemy ships and close quarters combat, fires 7mm rifle rounds and has an internal magazine for 5 rounds.
Pomaz Ax
The traditional weapon of the Pomaz people, used in melee combat and is carried by heavy infantry.
