The same day that Reito placed the final brick that would permanently entomb her mother, she was called into the palace's ceremony room. In a quick and quiet ceremony, the fifteen year old girl was adorned with the crown. The pure platinum metal was encrusted with a gem found in each of Kumosenkan's prefectures. The Minister of the Church led the ceremony as they always had, and instilled into Reito the right to reign, and with it the knowledge of every past Empress from the living stars. Starting 1933, the reign of Empress Reito had begun.
