After a rousing round of seeing who drew the shortest straw, it was determined that Aleksy Krajewski would be the fortunate soul who got to represent Lusatia in Ida Koi. Despite his humble protests that he really wasn't qualified to represent Lusatia in such an important country, and how there were many more ambassadors way more qualified to handle the nuances needed to deal with the Koian government, he was sent to Ida Koi shortly behind a telegram informing the Koian government of the new Lusatian ambassador to Ida Koi, since the previous one finally retired after years of service through multiple Lusatian governments.

The telegram would be replied to stating the address of the ambassador's new lodging, as well as a notice that a convoy would be waiting at the station to transport him to the embassy.
At the same time, MiniState would produce the required documents issuing Aleksy Krajewski as an official diplomat. As per custom, they would be handed over upon stopping at the station, and would be instructed to keep them at all times.

The ambassador thanked the MiniState for the documents, and put them in his briefcase, stone-faced and somewhat pale.
After checking into the embassy, and ensuring that everything was in order for his stay, he sent notice that, whenever the Koian government was available to grant him a meeting, he wished to be able to talk with them.
In the meantime, he would depart the embassy infrequently, and only when necessary.

The ambassador would eventually receive word that he would be meeting with the Minister of State herself, Loviise Utkin, who would meet him at the embassy.
She soon arrived a few hours later, walking into the lobby of the Lusatian embassy. Accompanying her, there was a single guard, though the heavy armor would make him look more like he's prepared for war than just a minor inconvenience. The convoy outside would have several guards, but would remain off the embassy grounds. The guard would take a seat in the lobby, waiting, his eyes behind his visor peering at everyone, making all avoid his gaze. Loviise would be instructed where to go, walking up to the door of the ambassador's office. She'd knock three times.

The Ambassador would open the door, and, seeing the Koian Minister of State, bowed respectfully and admitted her to the room, while saying, "Thank you for visiting me so soon, Madame Minister, please make yourself comfortable. Would you like something to drink? We've got tea, coffee, and water, with a couple of bottles of wine, should you prefer."

Loviise would bow in return, smiling to him as she stepped in. "I'll take some coffee, please, if you're offering. It's been a long day." She'd stand and watch, looking around the room so as not to stare directly at him and make him uncomfortable. She'd thank him once he was done, taking a quick sip.
"To what do we owe the pleasure of this meeting today, Mr. Krajewski?"

Ambassador Krajewski would sit down as he began speaking, and invited the Minister of State to do the same.
"At the moment, Minister, not much. I figured introductions at the very least would be important, as your nation is our nation's greatest trading partner, if only due to the amount of staol we rely on to power our industries. I had hoped that by meeting with either you or another member of Ida Koi's government that we could establish a basis with which to prevent possible future miscommunications."

The Minister would sit across from him, sipping from her coffee.
She'd nod along as he spoke, though would cock her head at the final words. "Well, we do our best to be open to everyone and turn no one away. However, what do you mean by miscommunications?" She'd set her coffee down, looking at him intently, though her expression wouldn't seem harsh, just more curious than anything.

The ambassador internally panicked for a moment, thinking he had already said something wrong, but soon composed himself, and continued, "It has more to do with Tyvia, than your nation. I don't know if they've discussed anything of the like with you, but after my government's recognition of Eonivelt, there was a brief period where they stationed additional forces near our border. Minor vehicles, overall, mind you, but it surprised my government, to say the least. The situation has since been defused, but it has alerted the Foreign Ministry that Lusatia should probably take more care to alert other nations of our intentions before we do something that unintentionally steps on toes, so to speak."

She'd nod. "We are aware of what the Tyvians are doing. They have spoken to us asking our opinion on it. Dictator Valgus gave them her opinion. The recognition of the Luclistani successor state has been a topic on our plate for a little bit, but we have yet to act as we are still weighing our options. Other nations choosing to recognize them does not cause us concern, as they are not one who directly borders us." She'd pause for a moment. "Tyvian actions do concern us, however, and we would much prefer if the situation remained cool. Tyvia is our only official border, though no longer our only connection to the rest of the world. But much of our supplies do ship through them, specifically to Lusatia, and so we would prefer if further situations remained calm and collected."

"Well, the good news in that regard is that my nation has reached an agreement with Tyvia regarding our issues, and it seems unlikely they'll do anything hasty, fortunately. Regardless, the meeting today is about the state of our relations with your nation, not with Tyvia. In that regard, our nation is heavily reliant on importing Staol from your nation to fuel our nation's factories. To that end, my government wanted to inquire as to whether there is anything Lusatia can offer Ida Koi in return, be it resources, or some other favor. While we can easily afford the imports we make, my government doesn't want our trade to be entirely one-sided. Even if it something as simple as providing maintenance for your rails through our nation, or aiding in the construction of alternate lines through our territory, there's various ways my government is willing to aid yours in that regard."

"That's good to hear." She'd listen, sipping down the last of her coffee. "If only MiniTrade or MiniMove were here, they know what we need better than I do. I recall MiniMove mentioning a new addition to the Staol routes, but it would require both Lusatian and Rashiran approval. Much like what has been done between Ida Koi and Amali, we'd like to build some sort of rail tunnel beneath the sea between you two. However, that's all I know. I don't know everything about their plans yet, as they're still working on feasibility.
"I would like to bring up the Luclistani successor state, or as you probably refer to it, the Republic of Eonivelt. We may, and heavy emphasis on that, be looking into recognizing them and reconnecting the staol tracks through them. However, we are aware that your state has closed your borders to them and only recently recognized them yourselves. What is your opinion on it, and do you believe it's worth pursuing?"

"Well, we can't legally bar your trains from entering Eonivelt, since the trains, tracks, and the products you notate as being on the trains are your nation's property, and we can't deny you usage of your own rails, so the most we can do is search any trains entering or leaving Eonivelt for stuff the trains' manifests don't claim to have. Even then, the government would probably only want to search returning trains for illegal immigrants, so really, the main hurdle is your own nation's recognition of Eonivelt. If you publicly recognized Eonivelt, my government would not prevent traffic from entering or leaving Eonivelt on your rails."

"As it stands, we more than likely no longer own the rails through Eonivelt, so we're obligated to listen to your government's request for closed borders. However, as per the treaty, we do allow for the trains to be halted and searched, so we've got no problems with that being the case."
She'd pause for a moment.
"Hmmm...I forgot, Hawking needed something...I should have done my research before this meeting, I came grossly unprepared. I think MiniPeace wanted me to see if it would be possible to purchase chemicals from you, if it's possible. I think it was chemicals..."

"My government has little need for extreme amounts of chemicals our nation is capable of producing. After this meeting concludes, I'll contact them, and get them to make some of our chemical production available for export."
"Erm, that being said, my country should be able to open the border for your trains passing through, as well as make chemicals available for your nation's use. Asides from that, and the other things we've discussed, though, I can't think of any reason to continue taking up your time. Is there anything else you wish to discuss, because, if not, I can contact my government regarding what we've talked about today, and then follow up with MiniTrade and MiniMove regarding the railway construction and confirming the chemical trade."
