The Ashinaran embassy in Perau has received a sizable box full of documents from the homeland, along with an instruction to the Asinaran ambassador to hand this box over to the Franerri Army officials, along with a letter to said Franerri Army officials detailing the contents of the box.
Inside were plans and specifications for a brand new category of fortifications. Bunkers, both underground for soldier housing and supply storage, and semi-underground for protected defensive fighting positions, which were up to spec to brush off almost any artillery save from naval battleship cannons. Attached were also plans of suggested bunker networks to maximize dependability of an area. One peculiar design, which had several exposed fighting positions facing all directions, and all connected to a central underground chamber, boasted an ability to defend an area after it's been encircled for up to several days until friendly forced could recapture the area and relieve the defenders.
The cheapest bunker design in the plans, however, was a semi-exposed small rooms, with space enough for only 5 people, and the firing slit big enough only for a machine gun. The second cheapest bunker was the same thing, but slightly upscaled to fit one of Franarre's new anti-tank cannons.
