The Battle of Forêt de Frontagne
The Franerri plane noticed the Ashinaran soldiers. It took the plane a few passes overhead to actually recognize who exactly they were -- the average Franerri still hadn't seen any Ashinarans, and the war front was the last place they were expected to be seen. The pilot did a waggle with his wings, trying to signal to the Ashinarans that he had recognized them back. When the pilot landed, he relayed the news to command. The Ashinaran soldiers weren't too far from the Franerri frontline, how. A small infantry expedition was sent out to meet them and get those heroes to safety.
Battle of Sarhone
The Franerri commanders had their conscripts coming down from the north whipped into a frenzy. The Sarhone needed to be won, and it needed to have been won yesterday. The entire fate of Franerre could very well hinge on this battle. Here, Franerre had the advantage of concentrating their manpower, the Franerri air force flying overhead, and the initial shock and awe from the large artillery barrage beforehand, allowing the conscripts to make quick initial gains. Hopefully, with other parts of the Shysil army being pinned by much smaller assaults elsewhere on the western bank of the Sarhone, this assault could cut Shysil's forces in two.
