With the success of the BAR auto rifle, the Galran Army has begun development of a fully automatic rifle for infantry to replace the Gelbh bolt action entirely. With the G1 combat rifle proving to be an excellent weapon for the Imperial State, it will be used as the basis for the new small arms weapon. Project G2A should have working prototypes by 1938 with mass production planned by 1939.

Finally, wanting more firepower the Galran army corps of engineers is testing a new heavy tank to replace all landships across the Imperial fronts and bring heavy hitting firepower. The Lionel tank is a hulking monster with a new 70mm main gun, thick armor, several machine guns. The main issue with the tank will be fuel consumption and its high price tag in terms of steel and rubber. Its expected to hit the frontlines by mid 1937.

Grinvel
With urban fighting becoming more and more common, the Grinvel armored corps is scrapping further production on their light tank lineup in favor of the stocky and heavy Brutus light tank. The new Brutus is covered with thick steel, has a short 75mm main gun, infantry support machine gun, new Grignor diesel engine that has powerful torque to tow with and finally for the first time mechanically easy to repair and replace parts compared to other Grinvel tanks. The Brutus is being pushed to serve on the Roskanan-Marrish fronts by mid 1936.

With their massive number of light tanks and small armored vehicles flooding the battlefield, Verak is preparing to create a new light tank equipped to do more on the growing battlefield. Despite demands from Galra that the Verak Empire create heavier class of tanks, the Veraki are convinced that speed is far better as a battlefield doctrine.

With the combined engineering of Galra and Grinvel a new cross SU tank is being released in the early months of 1936, with the MK2 Clanker failing to achieve results needed. The new MK3 Vulture could bring a new modernized battlefield standard in terms of tank design. The Vulture boasts the most advanced technology for armored vehicles in Ouhiri, highly efficient engine with heavy torque and power. The tank will be built by Galra, Grinvel and Verak. SU client states are not expected to receive the new tank.
