A group of children absent-mindedly played near empty train tracks just on the outskirts of town. Their revelry cut by the sound of roaring thunder as an engine barreled down straight carrying a long line of cars behind it. The rhythmic thudding shook the earth as it carved through windswept rails.
A man's eyes watered in a dark cave as he and his team loaded stacks of ore into a cart in an almost automated fashion. The air was thick and dank and his back surged with pain every time he kneeled down and moved load after load through the cavernous tunnels deep beneath the Sierra Grande.
A forewoman looks out onto the factory floor as as slabs of molten steel are cut and rolled into thinner sheets. Everyone and everything on her floor moves methodically as no one could afford accident or injury. These slabs thinned more and more until they are cut and shaped into coils.
The King sits in his office overlooking an infrastructural map of Nevarra. His immediate court consisting of several finance ministers and the representatives of prolific corporations within the Kingdom. A gloved hand points on the map and words are exchanged, that same gloved hand shakes the others present.
A woman in uniform looks to her family as they exchange a tear-felt goodbye at a train station. With one last glance she turns and boards the train with the rest of those who answered the call for Nevarra's defense.
The war has spurred a need to heavily industrialize to meet the demands of sufficiency. Several projects have been commissioned by the Kingdom for the purpose of expedient infrastructure, development, and fortification. Right now, there is a large focus on road networks. While Nevarra possesses a comprehensive rail-system given their geography and membership in the ISTT, her road infrastructure could use more refining especially to help aid motorized divisions across the country. As such a long-term project is set underway in order to create more means of traversing the Granarha Desert for military and civil convenience. In addition, electrification being on the mind of Nevarra with thoughts of the war approaching further into heartland territories. As such a commission is set up to expand electrification in major cities all the way to surrounding townships to aid in defensive network accessibility.
In addition, Nevarra is notably running a deficit in material as they cannot create more than they consume. As such the Kingdom is commissioning projects to increase the number of certain industries to meet their growing demands.
Lastly, Nevarra is pushing for a recruitment drive. The Crown officially wants to avoid moving into extensive conscription and so efforts are being made through propaganda citing the seasonal victories in the Sierra Grande against Galra as well as the the success of the first Coalition of Nations meeting, inciting Nevarran civilians to join the global effort against the Sovereign Union.
