Welcome to Ouhiri!

Ouhiri, pronounced Oh-ee-rye, is a planet similar to Earth orbiting the star Ryvon, a G6Vab-Class star that is approximately 0.9 Solar Masses. The planet has a single known continent, with sparse islands jutting out of the turbulent oceans near the coasts.

The world is run off of Staol (colloquial names may vary), meaning Star Coal, a material that was deposited by several meteors that struck the planet throughout its life. The material left behind burns hotter that coal, more efficiently than oil, and cleaner than both, giving it a lasting reach that forced the other two to step back. Ground transportation is the norm, with gas-powered airplanes never becoming normalized and coal-fired ships never seeing much need.

The year is now 1945. Wars have been fought, people displaced or removed, and life continues on as usual. The people yearn for more, and it's your duty as the leader to guide them to what they want, or what you want. You could be that kind of leader, they're accepted too.
