Currency
The currency of the Republic of Koi is the Jewel, labeled on the international market as the KJW and denoted by the symbol of ≛. The Jewel is a physical fiat currency, divided into both paper and coinage currency. The paper versions come in ≛1, ≛5, ≛10, ≛25, ≛50, and ≛100. In the past, however, ≛2, ≛500, and ≛1,000 bills were also printed, though the latter two have since been discontinued and removed from circulation as actual currency, while the former is still in active circulation, but not printed. The coinage versions come in 1Ɉ, 5Ɉ, 10Ɉ, 25Ɉ, and 50Ɉ. Coins are printed in Nickel-Copper alloys. Amazingly, compared to other currencies, the 1Ɉ coin is not a net loss while printing, coming out to being 0.97Ɉ to print per coin.
