And once it had been signed, the man would look at the treaty, and then hold it up and out, letting the others see the signature as well before he then would gently return it to the tube it had rested in, for safety and storage.
"Rombarda welcomes you to the Commonwealth of Granuras." He'd say to Xander, before he turned and would make his way back out of the room. Therma would stand up, and stretch, before he would speak. "You are invited to the next Summit Lounge, in two days. We expect to see you there, with your best suits." They'd say. "There'll be a lot of photographers, after all."

"Of course," Xander said, returning his pen to his pocket, "But I am afraid you must excuse us. His Majesty would love confirmation of this momentous occasion as soon as possible." Xander pushed his chair back, and Leo did the same. "Therma, Mendez, Damyo Sato," Xander said, as the pair shook the hands of Therma and Mendez and bowed to Sato.

Therma would give them respectful nods, and then slip them both small bottles of a violet-colored sparkling liquid.
"I had intended to get proper baskets but as it stands the aids are late, it doesn't surprise me given the weather. I bid you well all the same."
He and the rest of the Rombardan ambassadors would give them a respectful bow of the head, before they turned and made their way out of the room through the main door, with one of the men staying behind to hold it open for them.

"For all of the world's advances, plans can still be slipped up by the weather," Leo chuckled as the Franch party walked out the door to Xander's car. Once inside, the elder brother let his mask slip.
"We did it! We did it Leo we did it!" Xander exclaimed with a joyful cheer.
"Yes, Xander, we did," Leo said with a small smile, "but we don't exactly have much room to celebrate here in the car. Get driving, I know one of the best restaurants in Auran." Xander gave a quick nod, before starting the car and pulling out of the Citadel.
Once they were on the open road, Xander asked, "What was that bottle they gave us, anyway? It didn't look like any wine I had ever seen before."
"That's because it's not wine," Leo answered, "They call it soda. It's a sugary drink, not alcoholic, either. It's got quite a pop to it."
