Abraham would lean over and grab a clear whiteboard. He'd move it in front of the map, following along the major routes leading down and writing each country's transit cost. "The route we usually use has an additional cost of five-hundred Jewels per car of Staol, and then at the docks have a transfer cost of a five-hundred Jewels per car. Taking the other route, without the tunnel, puts you at three-hundred-and-fifty Jewels per car, with a transfer cost of...I believe it was four-hundred Jewels per car. With the tunnel, we can remove either of those two costs. For the tunnel through the CIE, it will tack on a transit cost of three-hundred Jewels for the first four months of operation and become fifty Jewels until we remake the cost of the tunnel. For the tunnel between Orthoria and Kumo, the transit cost will be three-hundred Jewels for the first six months of operation and seventy-five Jewels across the tunnel until the cost is remade. So overall it will come out cheaper in the long term."

"Wait a moment," Minorin said, pointing at the line through Orthoria. "We could have been saving two hundred and fifty Jewels per car this entire time by switching the route?!" She put her hand over her mouth. This was her fault for not realizing this sooner. Though, she could spin it to look very positive for her. "Let's make that switch immediately and begin the construction of the tunnel. I will speak with the Empress and I'm certain I can convince her of the value of the tunnel. The amount of money saved in the long run is indisputable."

Abraham smiled, bowing lightly. "I'm glad we could make today's meeting productive." He'd slip back over to his desk, plopping down into his chair and rolling over to his filing cabinet. He'd open it, pulling through the files for the route change forms. He'd bring it back over, flipping through the packet of Kumo papers currently on his desk before landing on a very specific line on page nine. He'd write down the string of numbers and letters onto the first line of the form.
"Alright, so, before we get started, this paper will take approximately fifteen minutes to fill out, and then you'll hear back in thirteen hours for its approval from the MiniStaol, within six hours of that you should hear back from the MiniRail about confirming your current routes being removed, which will soon be followed by a message from the MiniMove confirming the details of the new route and what will be expected, then within eight hours of that you'll receive confirmation of the new trains being sent by MiniRail and it will arrive by the first time listed MiniMove. Any questions?"

Minorin struggled to keep up with all the different ministries that would soon be in contact with her. She quickly wrote down the order in which she'd be contacted as well as what she would need to do once she was contacted. "No. No, I think I've got it. I'm very glad we had a more than productive meeting. If that is all then I will be heading back to my embassy." She stood and bowed slightly before Abraham.

Abraham bowed in return. "It was a pleasure doing business. Don't worry, the process is streamlined, you don't need to remember all that. It's involved, but we've done it for many years. We will speak to Orthoria to see their thoughts on the tunnel. We would suggest talking to them yourselves as well just in case it helps to sway them."
