The Ambassador nodded. "That's understandable, Imperator. At the very least, this trip will have been short for us," Lang chuckled dryly. She turned to Marina. "Once again, I would like to thank you for your kind gift, Marina. As much as I wish we could talk over tea all day, I know the life of an Ambassador is busy enough, but I imagine it pails in comparison to what it must be like to run a nation."
