--The Rear--
The remaining UST cavalry regrouped East of Do'rville, battered and tired they were now settling into the cold snow, "Get a fire going!" some of the men dismounted to chop wood as they decided to make camp. "Unbelievable, damn Franch flooding in, we kill em and they just keep coming!" complained one rider, the commander was annoyed he couldn't go back to Do'rville without running into the Frannerre, if he rode them further East he ran the risk of going into rebel territory.
"We can't go back, would be suicide, East is the same." the commander chimed, a rider threw his hands up annoyed. "Then what the fuck do we do?", the commander grinned "Get that fire goin' lads, cause we're going North. We'll raid Southern Frannerre and have some fun."
--Main front--
The UST infantry cheered at the horrid field of death before them when the Frannerre cavalry were slaughtered, with the Frannerre western attack falling back their artillery corp continued to fire at the withdrawing Franch. The UST infantry took cover within their trenches from the Franch mortar strikes but they still fell victim to debris kicked up with several sustaining head injuries. "Fucking bastards! Know when you've been beaten!" an annoyed soldier yelled.
Falalu observed from his horse via some binoculars, "the Frannerre are getting reinforcements, where are my cavalry? We're about to be outnumbered, send a rider to Juaz and get Taronki to send me more troops dammit!" an officer left to relay the message while another stated, "The roads are terrible sir, this winter has been particularly harsh." Falalu shook his head, wiping snow from his brow in anger, he had victory but now was facing the battle being at a stalemate. "Damn him, damn that man I could have stormed Frannerre by now." He turned his horse back to the main encampment to retreat from the cold into his personal tent.

The Cavalry
The moral of the cavalry units was dangerously low after the disaster of a charge that had just occurred. They needed time to regroup and make what slow recovery they could in the freezing dead of winter. Riders would be sent out the long way around to the rear of the city to reestablish contact with the main force, but communication was slow.
The City & the Flanks
Little had changed in the battle lines as far as both the Franerri forces inside the city and on Do'rville's flanks was concerned. To charge was suicide; to simply shell the Union was the much more preferred option. Trenches were dug as deep as could be managed in the freezing cold of winter to defend from the Union doing the same.

The UST remained stationary, firing their artillery back at the Frannerre, the battle had become a deadlock with neither side willing to move. Falalu was frustrated as he was told no reinforcements would be sent from Juaz. Infantry huddled inside their trenches trying to keep warm as scout teams brought back any wood they could burn South of the battlefield.
Meanwhile, the UST cavalry had reached the Frannerre border and was scouting for any way past Frannerre border defenses and begin roving the countryside for villages and towns to burn.

Franerre
With Franerre herself threatened, any conscripts on active duty in the area not on the border with Galra would be called upon to help hunt down the UST cavalry pillaging the countryside. Riders would be sent down to Do'rville with orders to recall a portion of the cavalry there, though they would take some time to arrive.
The City
Little would change on the Franerri side, either. This battle had turned from one of men and maneuver to one of shells, and it was all Franerre could hope that she had brought more. At the very least, they had wood from the ruins of Do'rville to burn and keep the fire's warm
The Flanks
Partially recovered from their assault, the Franerre cavalry would move to harassing any Union soldiers attempting to scavenge for supplies in the nearby area. The cavalry, already whittled down, moved in small parties and counted on their mobility to avoid any costly fights to the already mauled units.

--Franerre--
The pillar of smoke and fire reached toward the sky, a Franerre village laid in waste as UST cavalry looked over their stolen goods. Everything from food, money, valuables and people. Citizens would be slaughtered if they couldn't get away with several men and women left hanging by their necks around the town, nailed to their chests were signs that said "King Dante killed me".
The cavalry kept themselves mobile and continued to target villages and smaller towns to ravage.
--The City--
UST forces continued to remain stagnant and fire back at the Franch, Falalu's frustrations were washed away however when he heard a familiar bugle call coming from the South. Reinforcements from Juaz had arrived 200,000 troops and 300 field guns were brought in much to Falalu's excitement. "General Falalu, we're here to help you take the rebel town." said an officer, "Excellent, set your artillery and begin pulverizing those damn Franch out of here." The officer took the orders and began setting up the Kumo and UST artillery guns adjacent to the guns Falalu had left. They roared to life sending hundreds of rounds into the city and onto the Franch forces.
The mass of infantry would be used to replenish the UST frontline and spread out to engage Franch cavalry that were hindering supply missions and recover the flanks. They used a combination of UST rifles and Kumo repeating rifles to edge themselves out in open combat. "Finally, we can crush these damn fools and take the war to Frannerre" Falalu jeered.

Do'rville
General Claude could see the writing on the wall. With the reports from his cavalry coming in, there was no way Do'rville could be held against such overwhelming numerical superiority. As the orders to withdraw were sent out, a few units volunteered to stay behind and delay the Union's forces for as long as they could. There was nothing stopping them from marching straight into Franerre after this. A force of 10,000 Heavy Infantry, 100 mortars, and 20 Gatling guns would stay behind in the city of Do'rvile under the command of Major General Rizzolo to delay the enemy for as long as possible while the rest of the Franerri army began the orderly retreat back towards Franerre to prepare for the oncoming onslaught, the cavalry rushing ahead to help put a stop to the UST's own cavalry's butchery.
Franerre
A force of 30,000 Standard Infantry conscripts with mortar and Gatling support had been mobilized to deal with the thread posed by the Union raiders. Charting the path of known Union raids, the conscripts were deployed in a wide perimeter ahead of likely Union paths, the entire force working to slowly tighten a noose on Union forces.

--Do'rville--
Falalu's new artillery began to open full salvo onto the city and the Frannerre forces. UST forces slowly pressed on the flanks as they began to seize on the fact the Frannerre were pulling out. Falalu ordered the excess infantry to march North and attempt to encircle the city to cut off the Frannerre retreat.
--Franerre--
The raiders ransacked village after village, they fed their stomachs full of pillaged food and relished in the horrid violence they conducted against the Franch villagers. Scouts however began to report approaching Franerre forces moving in, the raiders moved West to avoid them while destroying anything they could.

Do'rville
The Franerri forced inside the city would try their best to fire on the Union forces attempting to engage the Franerri forces on the city's flanks, doing whatever they could to try and make sure their brothers in arms were able to retreat safely. On the flanks, the fighting retreat would continue despite the UST's pressure. It was leave or die, no other choice.
~
Franerre
With reports of the cavalry's destruction moving West, the net of 30,000 Standard Infantry moved West along with them. An additional force of 20,000 Standard Infantry would be raised in the West to hopefully ward off any further attacks, while what remained of the 60,000 Cavalry that had retreated from Do'rville would begin to assist in hunting down the UST's cavalry.

--Do'rville--
The UST artillery began mercilessly shelling the city of Do'rville, colleterial damage was acceptable to Falalu who saw the city full of traitors and foreigners. Infantry companies began pressing onto the Frannerre flanks to break them and force a quicker more hasten retreat, the fresh bodies from Juaz used their Kumo bolt action rifles to lay down more shots at the retreating Franch.
--Frannerre--
Another village laid wasted, the raiders lived like wild kings without much to worry until their scouts began reporting Frannerre forces advancing toward them from the West. They scattered back Eastward attempting to avoid them leaving the ruined village.

Do'rville
The Franerri flanks united and retreated from Do'rville, but the cracks were beginning to show. General Claude had hoped that any more Union forces would focus on the volunteers in Do'rville, who continued to do their best to fired on the Union forces pressing on his flanks. Claude was beginning to wish he hadn't sent the cavalry back to Franerre, even if they were needed. All his troops needed was some breathing room to recoup, but if the Union continued to press, well, Claude would cross that bridge when he came to it.
~
Franerre
Finally, the Union's cavalry had been caught in a net. 20,000 men from the West, 30,000 from the East, 20,000 Franerrri cavalry from the south, and 10,000 men from the East redeploying north as fast as they could to cut off the Union's last route of escape. Vengeful volleys from 250 artillery guns and 40,000 rifles sank into the Union cavalry.

--Do'rville-- ((Content Warning: Rape and child murder))
With the city abandoned by Frannerre the UST poured in easily overwhelming the Tafatu volunteers and slaughtering them. A force of 55,000 would be ordered to pursue and press the fleeing Frannerre and prepare for what Falalu had been waiting so eagerly for, the invasion of Frannerre. For now his remaining 200,000 troops went wild in the captured city. Looting, rape, murder and burning of buildings carried on for days as Union troops took out their frustrations on the Tafatu citizens.
A massive pillar of fire and smoke rose from Do'rville as the Union troops carried out their intentions like wild animals howling into the night amid the screams of their victims. They gathered all the men, young boys, and elderly before Kumo machine guns and mowed them down into a ditch. Falalu ignored it all, it was part of the post war plan anyway, cleanse the North of the Tafatu once and for all to end the rebellions. His men held contests on how many children they could find and bayonet, women and young girls were branded as property to be 'used', anything in the city was lootable as they broke into stores, homes and burned whatever they wanted. After a few days of being monsters they would march to Frannerre's border intent on doing the same thing to the Franerre.
--Frannerre--
The raiders luck had run out, the blaze of gun fire cut them down forcing their movement to a halt. With nowhere to go they put themselves a desperate stand sandwiched between Frannerre troops. They would fire in vain at the Frannerre as crossfire cut them down with ease.
