Gentaki wiped the sweat off his brow, the brutal heat of a Touli summer was now in full swing as he overlooked his newest recruits to the Xagreau army. He had ruled Xagreau as its dictator now for 24 years, building his army to one day sweep forth and slaughter the foreign trash that infested his homeland. But he couldn't invade Xaspesh like he wanted, not with the looming jolly green giant of the UKUG standing behind it now. His people were becoming restless, the undeveloped nation of secessionist xenophiles and nativist had saw little progress since leaving the Federation in the civil war over two decades ago.
He retreated to his personal palace in Jaga, once a prominent Gaelic residence was now home to a cruel tyrant hungering for war. The arrival of his officers brought something that caught his attention, "Are you sure of this?" he told them after reading a report given to him. They nodded and he waved his hands at them, "gather my generals" they left quickly. Gentaki felt the world slipping away from him, but here was something he never wanted to see, a Gaelic railroad being built south of him. And worst of all, for the filthy Mil'Nor. "Lizard invaders" Gentaki called them, he hated the Gaelics but at least they were humans. The Koblods of Mil'Nor were freaks to him, on his land.
After a day of preparation, he amassed his generals, he rolled a map of Northern Mil'Nor out that had a green line running through it. "Because of the Gaelic's greed, we infiltrated their project for imperialist domination of our continent. They intend to build this rail line deepening the grip they hold on Eastern Touli. If they build this we allow them the capacity to ship soldiers to all regions of our borders." His generals stared quietly at the map, "We must strike a hard and fast response to this, force Mil'Nor to abandon this project and demand they cease it altogether. We will send our armies South, destroy this imperialist project and force the Mil'Nor into cooperation." The generals looked around slightly stunned, they had been preparing for years to war Xaspeshi and UKUG but now were told to invade Mil'Nor, "The Mil'Nor are soft, weak, greedy and cowards. They will bend quickly." Gentaki said rather confidently.
No one in that room was going to oppose Gentaki, the people saw him as almost a religious figure, the man who would free all of Touli one day. And they hung on his words, that this would be a quick and easy war to force Mil'Nor into surrender. "It's decided, we invade Northern Mil'Nor."
---
Several weeks later the Xagreau army would be mobilizing for all out war with Mil'Nor. 50,000 light infantry, 3,000 conscripts, 50,000 standard infantry, 20,000 heavy infantry, 10,000 carabineers, 500 field guns, 500 mortars, and 110 stolen Gaelic trucks from the civil war were mobilized for the invasion. All of them eager for a fight after years and years of build up for the potential war with the Xaspeshi. To them the Mil'Nor were still invaders, foreigners on stolen land that needed to be purged for the fight for free Touli. General Boroko would lead the assault, the primary invading force drove Eastward with two split divisions West of them to drive across the border and to seize as much territory as possible. The plan would be to shock and awe the Mil'Nor into compliance or risk the North being razed to the ground.
