Obsillia 4th, 1932 Northwest of the Coast of Meiyo.
Named such from the Mil'Nor's occupation of the land for the past near 200 years alone, the waters around the icey tundra of the south had warmed the steel vessels tracing through the summer waves. The Valderan fleet had been collected and assigned to a special operation. They were to travel to the town of Vosslige on the other side of the nation near the Kithium border, refuel from stockpiles there and head on with a tender fleet to the Capital of the Union of South Touli.
12 escort destroyers and 1 light cruiser that had been purchased from the Kumo would be sent ahead of the tender fleet, with a transport fleet carrying 25k Standard Infantry (E.A.R. 1910 equipped) guarded by the 48 sailing/coal hybrid ships the nation had sent alongside. The plan was simple. Stop with Kithium officials to learn if any progress was made on a joint military mission, and if so, end the war by going after Okeena. Fleet-Captain Torres has been assigned as CO of the operation, and was given the authority to do whatever was needed, without risking the lives of his men.

Astillia 4th, 1932, off the eastern coasts of Mil'Nor
The fleet was on schedule, all things considered. Seated on the bridge of the newly rechristened VIM-Enyo Light Cruiser, Fleet Captain Samir Torres considered the tasks before him. He was to meet with Kithium representatives to inform them of his mission, along with seeing to the end of the Touli Great War. His directive was simple. Prioritize the mission, unless needless harm was demanded. Beyond that, the Council and Deacon had granted him full right to take what measures he saw fit with his command. Looking across to one of his men, the Captian gestured for the man's gaze before speaking.
"Command Duty Officer, What do you think is the difference between a drill and a real war?" His tone carried a formality to it, the feeling of a more loftier thought given to the question. The officer seemed to pause just a moment before speaking, the mantra given feeling at least of some previous repeated use. "Sir, the difference of true danger." The superior gave a nod, his gaze turning back out to the open seas before them. "That is correct, Officer. So remember that during our time here, my fellow countrymen. Picture it, the use of a powerful boat, a powerful gun and a powerful ammunition. We need only to sail upon Novosco, and they will sign peace under our guiding hand."
Many of the officers either nodded or murmured agreement, morale high among the men as the fleet sailed onwards around the Horn of Meiyo. Their destination? The naval ports of the Kithium League near the UST-Kithium border.

Autumn had come to Touli, and with it the arrival of the Valderan Expeditionary Force to the port of Ishan'Rombarda. Once docked and having given R&R allowance for his men, Fleet Captian Torres would send a request for meeting with the local authorities. His directive was clear, having chosen to wait for the Kith representative by his docked flagship.

The Kithium sent an officer as a representative, this one being a naval officer rather than the typical ground force element. This was still technically an army posting - the navy was apart of the Army in basically all respects aside from responsibilities, being labeled the 'Army Naval Forces' naturally meant you were just a component service.
He'd however have army authority and would be thusly given army responsibilities, thankfully fully informed - interservice rivalry was not only frowned upon but usually punished with a whip. He met with Captain Torres on the dock.
"Welcome to the League, and to Ishan'Rombarda. I'm General Davidson." He'd say. "

The Captain gave the arriving officer a smile when he spotted the man, a handshake offered once Davidson introduced himself. "A pleasure, General. I am Field-Captain Torres of the First Valderan Expeditionary Force. We have been sent by the Deacon to offer any possible aid to the Kith, as plans have been made to end this war with our involvement. Twenty five thousand of our marines stand at the ready, along with our newly founded battlefleet to see to any naval actions you may have in mind."

"I was told that there's been developments at the frontline, rather than walking you two miles back to the embassy I'll just tell you here. Easier that way." He'd take out a folded up paper, and hand it to them, written by a translator into something he'd be able to read easily given that Rosark was a rather varied langauge. It summarized most of the recent events in the south-west.
"The invasion in the south has hit a snag though it's not one they could have necessarily avoided. We're considering sending the majority of our fleet towards Noscovo, perhaps as well with your marines and firepower they'll be able to make a landing in the city. This requires we move fast, however, given it's fall and the waters this far south tend to freeze over massively, especially around the Razu coastline - enough that it forms ice-bridges." He'd tell them.

The captain took the document, personally grateful for the translation as he looked over the report. Looking up back to the General, he'd return the report as a wide grin dressed his face.
"With our forces combined there is little that can stand in our way. My men are ready for an assault on Novosco, and as soon as your own preparations are ready we shall set sail. If we can split our attack between a naval and land assault, there's a very good chance we can win the day without a man lost"

"I will get the men together. You'll have to be the spearhead, your fleet is larger than ours though we do have a small new core of recently purchased Gaelic warships. It'll be good to get the sailors trained on them." He'd say.
"With any luck, we'll get there in time to seize the gold AND the glory." He'd say, turning to make his way off the dock, moving to mobilize the Naval Infantry and the remaining numbers of marines. By that night, the remaining 5,000 marines and around 16,000 naval infantry, effectively light infantry trained for amphibious assaults but not equipped to the same standard as the Marines themselves, had made their way to the docks, and began to gather up in force, boarding transport ships while the Kithium brought the majority of its new fleet up to 'Ready-Sail'.

"We shall smash whatever resistance the Union can muster aside. By the end of autumn, Novosco will be yours" Torres said.
With the departure of the general, Torres took to rallying his own forces. The night would see the Valderan marines mingling in the town, the troops taking what time they could enjoy on dry land before returning to their vessels. Once the Kith were ready, the Valderan fleet led the way to Novosco, their iron bound ships spearheading the joint fleet.
