Le Troi
Kendaya walked through the snow fallen streets of the capital toward the new Senate Chambers, the capital was slowly healing following the brutal battle fought here 3 years ago. It didn't seem real to him, the war was over and Tafatu was an independent country it spanned across Touli representing a large scope of people who wanted to escape the tyranny of the Southern government in Noscovo. He entered the Senate building feeling the warmth of a Frannerri installed boiler heating it and the distant chatter of the Senate in session. He was using a cane made from the wood of a oak tree near the city and a prosthetic made by an engineer. He lumbered into the chamber with some representatives nodding to him, the Senate was finishing their vote on a loan taken from Amali and expanding reconstruction pacts with Marrlan, Frannerre and Ashinara.
The vote passed pushing for a large loan from Amali to support the Tafatu economy, they would begin mining the mountain range of its rich gold and silver deposits and immediately growing the Republic as it should have years ago. For Kendaya it was bittersweet, 56,000 Tafatu gave their lives for freedom and over 3.5 million civilians were dead or displaced. Every city had been hit in the war and needed to be rebuilt. It was the next test, but Kendaya was confident he could accomplish it.
Noscovo
The Oligarchs were shipped North, the UST was now in utter shambles. Lost territory crippled its economy, Vokoyo slowly recovered some kind of order in the shattered nation. The new government of the UST was consisting of elected officials and mayors from the remaining towns, Vokoyo was selected as the next President of the Union of South Touli. A new constitution was drafted finally putting in writing after nearly 60 years in its founding, the limitations of the government, the UST economy was completely broken economically but Vokoyo made his first action in pushing a trade fleet to rapidly trade with Kumosenkan and lean on them for financial support. The people found themselves living in near impoverished conditions, many realizing that their sons, fathers and brothers were not coming home 593,004 Union soldiers died in the war many were now calling the war of foreign intervention. While many South Toulians blamed Okeena they primarily showed anger at the traitor Northerners and the Frannerre-Ashinara coalition pushing their imperialistic notions onto the war. South Toulians also firmly hated Kithium, they despised their neighbors which did not bode well to a future without conflict.
The UST war was Ouhiri's bloodiest war to date, far outweighing the devastation of the Staol wars. The face of Central Touli has changed dramatically and along with it comes the death of old warfare. The mass of casualties comes from the advent of modern weapons and old tactics, a harsh and brutal lesson to both sides.
UST losses: 593,004 dead, millions wounded, thousands are missing.
Tafatu: 56,817 dead.
Ashinara: 64,223 dead
Frannerre: 99,574
Marrlan: 19,546
Kithium: 182,187
1,015,351 total combat deaths confirmed
Over 12 million people displaced from their homes, 3 million civilians deaths.
