As the first shipment of weapons purchased from Lusatia has arrived, it was immediately sent to the Royal Army R&D for evaluation and testing. While the Lusatian Machine Gun was of not much interest, being very similar to the Ashinaran MG as is, the pistols were well received. Many of the officers who conducted test fire of the pistols, however, complained about it's bulkiness. After the initial evaluation, the R&D Department was tasked with creating a prototype design based on the Lusatian pistol - sufficiently changed to not be considered a reverse-engineered copy, however, while another team worked on a design simplifying the Lusatian, with the potential of presenting it to Lusatians and requesting to build it under license.
