Along the borders of the Kithium League and what was left of the UST following the 'Great Touli War', a convoy of Valderan trucks and wagons amassed on the Kithium side. Their cargo was a mix of actual products to be sold, and the shipment of weapons promised to Frannerre. Those chosen to join Elder Tzu on his mission were given the utmost order of secrecy, with the official response given that the convey was an old Expedition from the former Elenrian Empire.
Once arranged, they'd begin the rough journey across the border, with Veneshy being their first stop for supplies.

Veneshy was still in ruins from the war, scars from the kithium laid bare as the people struggled a meager existence from what was left. Mostly women and children, what men were here, transplanted soldiers from the shattered Union army to occupy the town. When the valderan convoy arrived it was stopped for inspection.
Lieutenant Fokuda led the inspection, his blue uniform showing wear from the lack of new ones. The UST was struggling in every regard, and Fokuda felt in the shrinking salary he was paid in. So he wanted to get something from the Mil’Nor.
“Gonna need a toll fee.” He said softly and with a tired tone.

One of the convoy's guards would meet with the Lieutenant, a pouch of gold coin in hand as he spoke. "Something we are more then happy to oblige sir. Our expedition can offer you and your people a great deal of goods as well. Might we settle for the night before we set off again for our leaders home?"

Fokuda went through the contents of the bag after waving it over, "Spend your money, not ours, i'm sure you're hungry and need to rest. There's Kantuko's den, a nice eatery in town still standing. And Bosu has an inn, he'd appreciate the business."
Fokuda waived them into Veneshy, its citizens still working on the repairs while Union soldiers looked onward with tired almost nihilistic looks as the Valderans entered the shattered town.
Merchants flocked over to them seeing they were foreign offering food, trinkets, hell junk to sell them in exchange for money. Kantuku's den was one of the last real restaurants standing, the owner having been a rather wealthy man before the war was still able to afford fresh produce and meat. The smell of roasted chicken and pork would fill the air of the building with what few Veneshy could afford to eat there.

Merchants and their escorts peeled off the convoy as it moved to establish a camp aside the city proper. Fresh food and goods were offered to the starving and meager of the city, while the Mil'Nor eagerly spent a mix of foreign coin on what the eateries had to offer. Textiles, fruits and basic construction material were also sold by the convoy, with a Mil'Nor merchant even offering the Lieutenant a newly fitted uniform thirty minutes after they had passed his inspection.
The escorts of the convoy filled the eateries, with more of a few barrels of their own booze brought along. Within the first hour they would be freely offering the drink to the people of the city, the small lizards not consuming even a quarter of their supply before leaving the rest for consumption. Several of the escorts would bring their own instruments as well, with the night being settled off with idle chatter between collections of Mil'Nor as their unofficial musicians filled the air with music. Locals that engaged with the Valderans would be met with warm smiles and an air of optimism, while those suffering from wounds or sickness being sent to Elder Tzu's personal physician.

For a small time, Veneshy enjoyed the company of the Mil'Nor. The people who needed medical attention went to Elder Tzu's physician forming a line, the flow of Valderan money revitalized for a time the small economy of the city.
