Field General Tyrann took a drag of his cigar from what had become his headquarters at Harrlowsburrow. Autumn training for the armed forces had begun, with a mix of fire drills and war games being carried out. The majority of the new recruits would be infantry duty, with those lucky few assigned to gunnery or vehicle duty being spared the more attentive programs.
From his overlook of the base, Tyrann made out a variety of ‘trial sites’ as he called them. While the war had been won, the importance of the tank and aircraft in that victory had not gone unnoticed. As a result, tests between aircraft use and armor support were underway. Wrecks from the Xagreau war had been dragged back to Harrlowsburrow for live fire trials, with studies being pushed towards potential anti-armor for infantry.
Blowing his smoke to the side, the General’s eyes glanced back over the summer logistical report. While there was little doubt about any capacity to fight the powers of the old world, Tyrann still smirked to himself at the idea of rolling through the rest of the ‘pocket’. Gentaki had proven to be a speedbump, and Tyrann doubted the rest of them could put up a reasonable defense. Old World interference seemed unlikely to the General as well. “Who spoke for the UST? Or the Franarri?” The thought rattled in his mind as he moved to pen a new letter, leaving his half spent cigar in its tray as he began his work.
