A junior aide from the Lusatian Foreign Ministry reached out to the Gaelian Ambassador in Kazimierzgrad to inquire if the embassy had the time to meet with him regarding Franerre.

Anton McCaig would respond to meet with the Junior Aide at the Gaelic embassy, "Welcome to our humble embassy, please make yourself at home. I have coffee brewing and some eggs and bacon being made if you want any."
McCaig would walk the aide into his office past a long wooden hallway filled with the smell of black coffee and crisp bacon.

"Thank you Ambassador McCaig, coffee would be fine, my wife fried up some sausage this morning," the aide chuckled.
"If you don't mind me getting down to business immediately, sir, there's a message from the Franerri Embassy that has concerned my superior, Foreign Minister Kaminski, and it pertains to their relations with your nation. The Franerri claim their relations with Ulster-Gaelia have 'degraded' and are asking us to mediate a return to diplomatic normalcy."
'Foreign Minister Kaminski was hoping you had been briefed or were capable of being briefed regarding recent events between your nations so we could get some context. It isn't that we don't believe Franerre, but our good ally of Ulster-Gaelia is a much more reliable source," the aide said, hoping McCaig wouldn't take the morning disruption too harshly.

“Oh dear, this debacle.”
McCaig poured two coffee mugs and offered sugar and cream.
“So we made Frannerre an offer, one that was shared to everyone in the room. They refused, we refused to entertain their notions for concessions. They left, came back and now this boycott threatens our trade pact. It’s a bad situation my friend, it’s going to be a tall order for normalcy.”

The aide added cream, but not sugar to his coffee.
Tapping his foot, he stood incredulously for a moment before responding to McCaig, "A boycott? What in the world was worth getting so worked up over that they move to that?"
"Any clue the cost of normalcy? Obviously, some public call to cease the boycott might be necessary, though with the amount of consumer goods you export to them normally, they might start hurting to hard to maintain the boycott without another supplier. What other assurances would you need to keep trade flowing?"

“They were upset at comments made by O’Donnell. Enough said.”
He sat behind his desk drinking coffee, “the bloc meeting went poorly so they took it to heart and now I have parliament wanting to cancel the trade deal because they can’t trust frannerre to not violate our trade agreements. So we’d want a tariff placed to repay costs lost, the tariff will be one sided and paid from hence forth. Then we can talk to frannerre.”

The aide nodded, finishing his coffee, "Sounds like what we'd do, if thrust into the same situation. I'll pass it over to the Foreign Minister after he's done meeting with Ambassador Janos. He'll probably want to follow up with you afterwards and hammer out something to give to Franerre to agree to and remain integrated with the world, or reject and turn to isolationism."
"Would tomorrow work for you and your staff? The deputy foreign minister has been nonstop talking about this steakhouse and Kaminski would probably want to discuss matters there over dinner."

"Is it Polzh Tatar? I've heard good things about it lately from my staff, haven't had time to try it. But its a definite yes."

"Yes, Polzh Tatar. I'll pass on what you've said to the Foreign Minister, and I'm sure you both will discuss the matter further tomorrow. Have a good day, Ambassador McCaig."
