Marrlan, Summer, 1933 As the armed forces of Marrlan adopted the new helmet, there would start to follow with its introduction, a debate about the current uniforms. However, this wasn't about the protectiveness of the current uniform, rather their current gripe had become with the somewhat limited space and utility of their current webbing and utility belts, as well as the lack of pockets on the uniform proper. Protection, while brought up a number of times, wasn't brought heavily into consideration, and likely would simply be something handed off to the research and development crew. The first and most significant project would be the development of a new pattern of webbing, with which the Roskanans would provide some assistance with, as they had developed a different pattern of webbing half a decade ago for similar reasons. The first designs were drafted, and they began to assemble the webbing from cloth, similar in some ways to the Roskanan design. The primary contender, the M32 Pattern Webbing.

Two weeks into the continued tests, the M32 Pattern would be selected for service, as it had proven itself in trials in the wilderness, mock combat trials, and some other working trials to test the utility of the webbing. As Autumn arrived, it was slated for immediate adoption by the armed forces.
