"I was born almost ninety years ago, when the Sundering Wars started, in a fishing village in an area of contested territory where a meteor fragment containing some of our supply of Staol landed. Needless to say most people get rich off that, but it kinda hit the village, so.." He'd wave a hand. "I've been around as long as this country had existed. All sixty or so years." He would tell them. "I'm eighty-nine years old. Nearly middle-aged, for my kind." They would tell him.
He would stand up and stretch out a bit. "Wanna get going then?" He'd ask them, starting to make his way to the staircase, right as the aid that had disappeared briefly to grab their coffee would make their way back up, the black furred Festria almost bumping into them. They'd throw each other's balances off briefly, but Thanatos regains it faster, and then catches the aid by their tie, bringing them back to their feet.
"T-thanks, sir." They'd say, Thanatos nodding before taking the coffee and then handing it to the Lusatian diplomat. "You said you wanted Coffe, yeah?" They'd ask them.

Nowak would follow Thanatos, and when Thanatos and the aid nearly ran into each other, the ambassador prepared himself to help the Rouvellian Vice President, though he just as quickly realized Thanatos had easily regained his balance. He would take the coffee, thanking both Thanatos and the aid, and then responded,
"You may just be middle-aged, Vice President Thanatos, but you're certainly more stronger and more agile than many members of the Lusatian government, nowadays. That being said, you've mentioned before that your people live longer lives than my own. Is it odd to you to see nations around yours have their own leadership change more regularly?"

"Odd? Hm." He would continue his way down the stairs and onto the sidewalk, making his way towards the east-bound exit to the square, following the Polaris Star symbols that marked the way. "I guess it kind of strange to me, now that I think about it, but it isn't too strange. Our leadership changes with the elections, but with no term limits on the president nor vice president, I've sort of just had the spot. Though that's because I'm very good at my job, and not because i'm a dictator of any sort." They would say.
"Gotta be good at your job to get by in government here, and I like to think i'm one of the best." He would stop as they reached the arch, dropping a bit of trash into the trashcan next to the base of one of the arches, and then making his way out after, onto the sidewalk next to a fairly busy road. Oil powered cars can be seen, driving on the right. As they walk they're able to see storefronts, open areas with large markets, though some are closed or barely open at the moment. There are numerous restaurants scattered about along their path as they go.
"So how is Lusatia this time of year?" Thanatos asks as he turns his head to them, the other two effeminate black-furred Festria appearing behind them as they caught up with them. "I think you said it was summer, but I've never really left Rovuellia, so I don't know what summer there is like. I figure a Native would know better than me how to describe the.. heat, maybe."

"Admittedly, it isn't the heat of the Lusatian summer that gets to you, though the heat, itself, is quite strong, especially near the capital. The major source of the rather sweltering summer is the humidity. Being near the coast, there is an abundance of rain and the like, and so there's rarely a time when the humidity lifts from the area, resulting in an overbearing heat, though the mornings and evenings can be a bit more pleasant. I imagine its a similar story here in the winter? The ones back home are rather mild everywhere except in the mountains, and the northern parts of the nation, however, Rouvellia is significantly farther north than Lusatia."
Both while and after saying this, he would quickly look around at the restaurants, though some of the names of the foods they advertised were extremely foreign to him.

"We don't really experience hot summers anywhere here. With such a cold climate, we just don't get hot temperatures. Even near the coast, especially further north, we barely get much in the way of humid weather. More often than not it's just more snow. Up north, like far up to the north where I was born? It's always, always snowing." He would say. "..We have some worries because of that too. Ferals..." They'd shake their head. "But that is more or less irrelevant." They would say. Before long they reach an intersection, and cross it, arriving in another small sort of square where they would cross the parking lot briefly, and arrive soon at a library. He'd go and open the door for them, holding it. Once inside, it'd be fairly quiet of course, there are bookcases as high as the ceiling, and three stories to the building itself. It'd have a cafe at the bottom floor, and an elevator.
