Following the meeting and signing of a major contract with Dame Haruko of Haruko Industrial, 3 million and 150 thousand Yairen were paid upfront, with 18 million to follow at the completion of the project. 1000 units of foundries and smithies are to be built in the City of Vono, Elenria, as well as an effort to electrify the urban region with several coal power plants.
As agreed, Vono's community provided laborers with housing and amenities, while other corporations were barred from competing with Haruko Industrial for the bidding of contracts in the region. Though the TAKPOE Ministry of Development was irate that it was being defied, there was little it could do when the Vono Community's representatives simply threw the angry letters from Aundui Yio into the wastebasket. After all, taxes were being paid, and the land was being developed: it wasn't as if that wasn't also the goal of the Ministry of Development, as so the matter was quickly both forgotten and buried under a pile of other problems that beset the central government, leaving Vono and its new corporate partner in peace.
