While a letter has been sent to Põhiliin to secure an increase in Staol import, to secure Ashinara's future energy stability in case Põhiliin refuses, or if the supply gets cut off for any reason, such as war, the Ministry of Infrastructure put out an order for mining companies to immediately start prospecting for new coal mines to sharply increase Ashinara's coal production. The goal was to at the very least adress the current deficit of around 45,000 units of coal per season.
50 construction factories would be dedicated to expanding existing coal mines and building new ones.
