Kithium Horde: Galra had seen the Kithium in action and knew their tactics perfectly—savage, witless attacks with no real forethought or planning. Galra’s plan was simple: anger the Kithium, bait them into believing their strongest sections are their weakest and slaughter the rushing Kith with heavy machine guns and armor. 100,000 conscripts used as baiting forces, 60,000 heavy infantry forces to set up kill boxes, 120 light tanks to assist in the slaughter, 10 armored scout cars, 350 field guns, 500 howitzers, and 200 mortars. The plan was immediately successful. Upon attacking the kith, they were ready to respond in force. Weak conscripts set up false emplacements to bait the Kithium into attacks. They immediately surrendered upon being attacked; those that the Kithium didn’t blindly murder were glad to give up information on the “weak links” in the Galran advance. The Kithium sent hordes of charging men into the strongest outposts set up by the Galrans and were chewed to pieces by the onslaught of machine gun and artillery fire. Slaughter after slaughter. Either the Kithium didn’t communicate about the several traps they gladly threw themselves into, or they simply believed their wanton violence could win a war. The kill ratio was so disproportionate that different divisions were risking themselves to boost their kill counts. Light tanks ventured out alone because they rarely participated, as the plan worked perfectly.
Smeynia, Xashece, Mushidabad, and Xaspesh: Tiny tribes hardly worth care. As they marched forward, they demanded each individual tribe, village, or town comply with them. They expected complete compliance as the technological and manpower difference was so massive. However, the tribes resisted at every turn. Any time in open combat, they were slaughtered, so they attempted to ambush and retreat. They sabotaged bridges, roads, food stocks, and anything they could get their hands on. Nothing the tribes could do could stop the Galran war machine, but their bravery did slow their advance, perhaps giving Valdera a chance to prepare before the behemoth crashed down on top of her. 80,000 conscripts, 80,000 light infantry, 50,000 standard infantry, 2,500 dragoons, 5,000 carabineers, 400 field artillery, and 200 mortars were sent through, intending to be the first wave of forces to hit Valdera.
Zedonia: The most significant threat against Wochourhiel. The bulk of her forces were sent here. An iron rod was forced into the UKUG’s soft underbelly. Emplacements were hammered by artillery and bombers. Fast-moving forces flew through battered areas and worked to encircle the still-standing defenses. No quarter was given. 50,000 standard infantry, 130,000 heavy infantry, 25,000 special infantry, 2,500 dragoons, 10,000 carabineers, 5,000 bicycle infantry, 150,000 motorized light infantry, 120,000 motorized standard infantry, 120,000 motorized heavy infantry, 40 armored scout cars, 50 tankettes, 45 landships, 340 light tanks, 1,300 field artillery, 3,000 howitzer batteries, 750 mortars, 500 siege artillery, 150 flak batteries, and 150 anti-tank batteries.
Naval Support: Six small task forces consisting of two battleships, four light cruisers, and twelve destroyers acted as gnats against Zedonia. They approached ports and bombarded them at max range; when confronted with anything larger than a handful of escorts, they retreated, deploying smoke and fleeing at ahead flank. A much larger quick reaction force awaited in deeper waters consisting of fourteen battleships, a light carrier, twenty heavy cruisers, thirty light cruisers, and four dozen destroyers. Any formidable force that scared off the gnats would attempt to lure the defending naval forces into the QRF. The main goal of this strategy was to destroy the UKUG’s ability to supply, repair, and support a naval force in Touli.
