Goodbye Ashinara, for we leave to war [Army training]

As the recruitment drive chugged on, the barracks of all military bases in Ashinara were getting filled to the brim with conscripts. There were two problems, however. First, the conscripts weren't worth much in battle, being drilled only in the most basic of tactics.

The second problem, however, provided an opportunity to solve the problem.

Ashinara was still cut off by a Galran blockade. The Royal Army was essentially on lockdown in their home turf. This gave them time to train more. And train more they did.
Hundreds of thousands of troops would be drilled to elevate their skill level from Conscript to Standard Infantry. Tens of thousands would be evaluated for their natural and pre-service proficiencies and drilled into relevant Special Infantry.

All the meanwhile, the economy and industrial would keep chugging along to elevate as much of that Standard Infantry to Heavy Infantry equipment.

Once the blockade lifts, the SATO Alliance will have about a million new troops ready for battle immediately.

Of the 200,000 Standard Infantry, all would be attempted to be converted to Heavy Infantry as soon as equipment for them was available.
