Public services in Ashinara were... a mess, to put it lightly. An amalgamation of companies owned by wealthy nobles, who often price-gouged to keep things such as electricity and running water limited them only to the upper classes. Not only did this selectively discriminated on who can have access these quality of life improvements, but also created additional layers of bureaucracy, often requiring to file the exact same paperwork with multiple companies on the same project, when trying to expand the infrastructure.
To combat this, the Royal court signed a new law, nationalizing the public services under the following newly created government agencies:
Nat-Electro - National Electrical Service Nat-Vodokanal - National Waterworks and Sewage Service Nat-Telekom - National Telecommunications Service Nat-Vidhid - National Waste Managment Service
Each of the newly created agencies would also immediately have local branches created for more effective management, with one branch per province, as well as a separate branch for the Capital. Each branch would have the Nat- (National) prefix replaced with the name of their local jurisdiction. For example, a Kyograd branch of Nat-Energo would be called Kyograd-Energo, and a Vohylin branch of Nat-Vodokanal would be called Vohylin-Vodokanal. The only exception would be the Nat-Telekom, which will remain under centralized management and only local offices of the national service, but no local branches.
