King Tatanoz was quickly ushered into a wonderful villa in the Central Detti countryside up in the Northern hot steppe. The building was a magnificent display of Grecian architecture, it had an irrigation system that fed water from the underground wells into a nearby vineyard for domesticated wine production. A pool of crystal clear water and fresh crops grown in a 6 acre farm. It had been a few weeks since the Amalian military reached the border of the Dominion, forcing him to abandon his palace and capital. He tried to bury his anxiety with wine, fine cheeses and succulent meats from the farm.
Into the summer is when he could no longer escape reality.
The Detti frontlines were caving in, ammunition was becoming scarce as Grecian forces drove the northern frontlines further South and the Amali military laid siege to the capital of Pratkala. Detti forces fought fiercely for the capital against Amali troops, a sense of desperation settled in for Detti troops who funneled themselves into the brutal fray of defending their homeland. But mixed with it was a sense of utter confusion, for over a year they were told of how their victorious march on the other Grecian states would bring in an era of empire.
In a matter of days the lies were shattered, civilians fled North away from the battlefront into utter uncertainty. The Northern battlelines collapsed into the Detti border, the stunned guards of several checkpoints would simply watch as thousands of young Detti fled back across the border, some would keep running. Most began to dig, putting up what artillery and machine guns they had left, it was utter madness.
The King in his villa was a broken man, asking questions he unfortunately received the answer for.
"How many tanks do we have left?" "None your grace, even if we had any however all our Staol is gone along with any of the petrol." "What of the men, how long can they last?" "Not long, food is running out all across the Dominion, this winter is proving to be harsh and our stores are horribly low. I'm afraid we might face famine." "What about Galra? Where are the Galrans?"
A long pause settled before the King got his response, "The Galrans have ignored our pleas, no one is coming."
King Tatanoz lost, he had lost the war, but he was utterly paralyzed by it all to give a proper response to his advisors asking for a ceasefire. "No...no...Galra will come. Tell them to hold the lines, I am confident. They will come."
Those words doomed thousands of Detti soldiers, as the Grecian assault came from the North bearing all the fury it could down on those desperate men.
Across the nation a famine began to settle in, civilians found themselves with almost no food or clean water, large scale surrenders were already underway despite the King's order to fight on. At the beginning nearly 20,000 Detti would surrender to Amali. The nation was crumbling.

Detti barely put a fight up in the final days of that winter season, most soldiers opted to flee and hide in the countryside while others surrendered begging for two things, mercy and food. Most generals had resigned to the war being lost, famine swept the nation where mothers had to make the choice of feeding their children anything edible they could scrounge or take them to the nearest river and drown themselves to avoid the slow death of starvation. Hope was gone, most detti officials were already cooperating with the Amali and Grecian allies to the point that the only thing left was a small battalion defending the road to the King's country villa. This battalion was commanded by Demitrios Pelan, the last man willing to die for the dream of a Detti Empire. He stood before his hungry, cold and to be honest broken battalion of troops before the Grecians descended upon them.
"Soldiers of the Dominion! You stand for honor! Integrity and for the promised Empire! Our King is depending on us! With our victory we shall turn the tide of the war! You shall go down in legend, immortal! You shall be crafted in marble from the edges of the promised Empire! Galra will come! And they will be envious of our might!"
No matter his words, those young faces just stared off, lost and feeling nothing but pain.
They assumed their positions, the last 900 men willing to fight for Detti faced an immense approaching Grecian force of 10,000 troops. General Sanders of Maiz offered a peaceful surrender, no harm would come to them or the King and that they would be fed and given medical treatment. Pelan refused.
As the Detti soldiers waited, many of them malnourished and haven't eaten in days. Some even pulled their teeth out from mouths gone rotten, they had little ammunition and lacked real proper heavy weapons to stop enemy armored units.
The battle began and within a few moments most of the battalion's positions were overwhelmed. Pelan drank from watered down wine atop an overlook as his men perished and were wiped out before taking his own life, his last words being "For the Empire".
King Tatanoz was taken into custody by Grecian allies and taken to a nearby village to force surrender terms. He was taken by the most recent battlefield where Detti men were laid all across dead in their vain attempt to defend his villa, Sanders who rode with him would simply say, "How many men? Did you honestly feel like wasting in this pointless war?" the King remained silent. He was taken before a council of military leaders who operated in Detti, including his own, he agreed to the following terms and signed Detti's official surrender.
The Dominion of Detti agrees to immediately disarm as a nation. The Dominion leaves the Sovereign Union bloc. The Dominion agrees to allow CoN military to be trafficked through its country, spare military assets are to be seized by the CoN in their ongoing war against the SU. The Dominion will receive food, medicine, aid and its government will be allowed to be retained.
Thus ended the Grecian front of the Great War.
Maiz would begin mobilizing to enter Koi, Marrlan and Roskana. Answering the call to defend the Republic of Koi and her old allies.
Kovus will send troops to aid in the defense of Nevarra.
Anthia and Aristoma will send troops to Amali to fight Verak.
