The Lusatian line.
Despite a year of constant assaults, all Galra could muster was a massive line of casualties from its own forces failing to breach the Lusatian fortifications. As the global war raged across Ouhiri, Galra could not inflict much harm to their closest enemy, in a desperate move they created a monster to finally breach the line.
Originally made for mining operations in the South, the Farnsworth walker was a massive four legged steam Staol powered walker made to mine high rises and haul heavy loads where rail could not reach. Now all 25 mining walkers were seized and repurposed for the sole purpose of assaulting Lusatia. The walker was needed for two reasons, the amount of dead soldiers and destroyed tanks left the battlefield nearly impossible to assault the line anymore without having to climb over the wreckage. The Second reason it was guessed that Lusatian artillery which had done most of the damage would struggle against the large targets as the walkers were made to sustain alot of damage and continue operation.
The Galrans equipped several 30. Caliber machine guns at the head along with two 40mm main guns. The Walkers main goal was to breach the line and create enough damage to allow a flood of 200,000 standard infantry to rush the line and finally seize it.

It was easy for the Lusatians to see what Galra was up to, hell you can't miss the massive walkers bring brought in alone not hear their massive noisy march. Lusatian infantry took their positions, prepared like any day to die standing for their nation. The walkers began their approach, slowly leaving clouds of orange smoke as they lumbered toward the Lusatian front. Lusatian artillery began their barrages at the walkers but even direct hits did little to the thick armor of the walkers, their weak point was the soft underbelly of the Staol boiler. Galran pilots fired their 40mm guns at the fort with impunity striking harshly at the Lusatian defenders, gunners inside the head fired their 30 caliber rounds at any unlucky Lusatian that would be outside the thick concrete of the line.
The walkers reached the killing zone with ease, crushing the corpses and destroyed tanks of the failed assault prior. Small arms fire bounced off the walker with ease, Lusatian infantry had simply never seen anything like this in their lives, the giant walker continued its slow approach lobbing 40mm rounds at the Lusatian forces and finally doing some damage to the fort.
"We're not going to be able to repel this assault. Inform headquarters we have to retreat from the line, prepare the cannisters."
Lusatian troops began their evacuation as the walkers reached the actual fortification and stomped right through. The walkers targeted things like ammunition stockpiles and fuel reserves, things the Lusatians couldn't pack up fast enough prior to fleeing. Massive explosions rocked the fort destroying large portions of it and sending Lusatians flying in the air from the explosion. Several Galrans cheered that at along last, the line would be breached. "Send our ground teams in, time to finish this" with that order, Thousands of Galrans rushed out of their trenches for the fort.
A handful of Lusatians held back fighting a desperate losing battle to buy time, one of them got the bright idea of taking a field gun and waiting til the walker was right over them. Despite the danger, they managed to fire a round right into the boiler causing a horrific explosion of the walker. Killing the Lusatians below but exposing the Walker's weakness. The giant of steel lurched forward creating a sound of grinding metal that sounded as if a beast was taking its last breath, crashing onto the remains of the Lusatian line. Galran infantry finally reached the fort and began tearing down the Lusatian flag to replace it with the Galran all seing eye flag.
But this victory was cut short, though the Lusatians staying behind would die too, several hundred cannisters of poison gas would be fired and flood the fort. "DEAR GOD GO Ba...." Hundreds of Galrans choked on the fumes of poisonous gas flooded the area. A mass panic and retreat was called sending the Galrans reeling from the destroyed fort as massive clouds of gas enveloped them. Killing thousands and severely wounding others.
The Galran general cursed the Lusatians, even with their fort gone they managed to hurt Galra. But it didn't matter, when the gas faded, Galra could finally invade Lusatia.
