Civilian Penicillin research has begin, Gaelic Pharmaceutical companies are researching treatments for minor STD's and Polio as well. Morgan Electronics company founded as a company buying Kumo and Amalian electronic components and creating larger televisions, monitor screens for the military and radios. They have begun researching color television. Gaelic teenager Martin Scranton is researching super glue in his grandfather's shed as a coping mechanism for his father and uncle fighting in the war. Gaelic-Elerian mathematician Gabe Bushnell has begun researching electronic computers. Given a grant by the Royal Army for the computer to be used for the war. Military UKUG Navy engineers are working on Radar and anti submarine warfare technology including a new aircraft made specifically to hunt and destroy enemy submarines.  Naval Command aircraft proposed design. Project: Seahawk Johnny Lawerance has unveiled a new proposed sub machine gun for Gaelic forces to adopt in the face of Galran and other SU nations using new submachine guns. The 9mm 30 round submachine gun uses a gravity fed magazine and is aimed from the side.

Autumn season progress on the Seahawk anti submarine aircraft. Additionally, two side by side 20mm auto canons and two 30 caliber machine guns are being placed at the front nose and sides. The aircraft is being expanded to assist in naval raids of enemy convoys and even assist in close range marine landings. The aircraft is to be powered by two Callahan rotary engines and its frame built by Ferris Combine. Initial tests are expected at the end of the season near the island of Sodor with mass production expected to be in the next season. |

Project Seahawk The Seahawk passed all necessary tests as 5 prototypes successfully launched from Sodor, mass production of the submarine hunting aircraft is expected to begin in the early months of 1936. Project face shield With the rise of gas attacks, a new type of gas mask for Gaelic soldiers and civilians is being developed by Ferris Combine.

Project 5With the war spreading across Ouhiri, the UKUG found the Model 4 bolt action rifle to be limited against the superior small arms of the SU forces, McCarron Arms along with the Royal Army have begun work on creating a new semi automatic standard rifle for the Royal military. Firing 10 .30-06 rounds with stripper clips or magazines, the McCarron Model 5 is already shaping up to be quite the upgrade to the Model 4 rifle, work on the model 5 is set to begin with prototypes being field tested next season.  Project Electric Eye The Battle of Gaelia proved several things to the UKUG, a strong standing air force was now essential to the defense of the empire and early detection systems needed a much needed upgrade. Project Electric Eye is a classified long range radar system linked to viewable monitors that will be able to detect aircraft and ships approaching from over 150 miles. Prototype work will begin next season, the Ministry of Defense has already pushed further funding to create radar for ships and stations that can be raised by army groups in the field.  All seeing, Electric Eye Project Gab With radios already being used in the Gaelic military, they proved to be all too useful in the hands of combat troops, pilots and the navy. Using various companies responsible for existing Gaelic radio technology, project Gab is set to create a new portable radio system for Gaelic combat troops on the frontlines of the Great War.  Stormtrooper armor upgrade With intense fighting cutting down even the Empire's best, Stormtroopers are being given more advanced suits of armor to aid them in their operations in the war. The new armor is made of cold pressed steel, layers of leather and rubber to assist with movement as well as a new strict physical regime to help wear and carry the armor and equipment on the battlefield. Stormtroopers also receive a unique helmet with built in gas protections and shrapnel guards. |
