As the CON conference was coming to its conclusion, Krivets dug through his suitcase, looking through several documents, before addressing the Marrlan delegation.
"Apologies, but one thing has slipped my mind. Our Army, in adaptation to the new realities of war and following lessons learned from the War of Tafatu Liberation, is looking to greatly expand the use of Light Machine Guns. We would like to order the Higgins MPM-34 - both the guns themselves and a production license. Additionally, we are in need of medium and heavy howitzers, and munitions for them."

Morgan Sheffield, head of the Marrish DoD, would answer. "We don't have production of the Higgins prototype as it wasn't up to Marrish military standard, but I'm sure we can get Higgins to send you the license and accompanying plans. Should our Eastern line hold we may be able to send some, but our production lines are occupied with currently issued equipment. You'll have to make your own for now." He paused and looked over his own paperwork detailing some equipment stock numbers. "We may be able to supply you with some if, Shurpis forbid it, Harbaville doesn't fall. How much do you need?"

Krivets looked flipped to another page of the document he already had in front of him, checking the needs. "We need to urgently form at least 3 battalions of long-range artillery, so we need around 100 heavy howitzers. Plus however much you can spare of medium to light howitzers that could be used for direct infantry support."
"We would greatly appreciate if we get that license. We are also currently building a new industrial complex to expand our domestic arms manufacturing capability, if we get that license before the construction is complete, we would be able to start production as soon as the factory is finished."

Sheffield would nod slightly, "We'll see what we can do, but I can't assure you any heavy howitzers making their way to you. Maybe light ones."

The license was issued shortly after, Higgins would forgo sending a bill for expedient wartime circumstances and simply acquiesced on goodwill though, they chafed under the collar dealing with Monarchists.
