It only took Grinvel a few hours to reach the outskirts of Termingrad, Koian resistance was light at the border and the hulking mass of troops approaching the city flooded the Northern corridors of Northeastern Koi rapidly. Taking the city would completely disrupt Staol to Northeastern Reseria and severely cut shipments to the CN would ultimately win the war for the SU, Grinvel scouts would begin mapping out plans to begin plans to assault the city. Large artillery units would begin setting up North of the city and preparing barrages for ground forces to begin their assault. The Grinvel force would consist of 100,000 standard infantry 100,000 heavy infantry 200,000 mechanized standard infantry 200,000 mechanized heavy infantry 3,000 howitzers 4,000 field guns 2,000 mortars 100 tankettes 600 light tanks 120 heavy tanks 400 medium tanks 90 flak trucks 150 landships 200 armored cars 8,000 supply trucks Air power would have to come later as Harbaville took up much of the air force, but the massive hulk nevertheless would come bearing down on the city. Artillery barrages would begin striking several sections of the city with ruthless cold precision at major roadways that the scouts could possibly locate. Direct assaults were withheld as Grinvel began digging into its position and preparing its first wave, the battle of Termingrad had begun. Grinvel forces begin their assault on Termingrad

As the Grinvelian forces arrived on the border of Koi, alerts and emergencies were broadcasted all across the East Coast. Koian forces scrambled to get to Termingrad, the Eastern command sending every available soldier to bolster the city before Grinvel arrived. The Gaelic command was let in on the situation, with their troops already waiting in Termingrad it made getting them set up all the easier. With the arrival of Maizan troops, they were redirected from Philadelphia to Termingrad to add to the defense. As all was said and done, there were less than 100,000 soldiers stationed in Termingrad for the incoming onslaught. Winter had come. Grinvel supply lines funneled in supplies at extremely high efficiency as diesel powered trucks brought in food, blankets, ammo, weapons, uniforms and whatever the massive horde needed. Before the Northern crest of Termingrad artillery barrages were launched and medium bombers from the newly built Koian airfield by the border dropped payload near the city center. The first day of the assault began. 50,000 standard infantry 20,000 heavy infantry 40,000 mechanized standard infantry 50 tankettes 300 light tanks 100 armored cars 40 heavy tanks 100 medium tanks All came in a horseshoe formation wrapping the Northern borders of Termingrad smashing against the defenders with supreme firepower. Grinvel has launched its assault on the Koian city of Termingrad Grinvel forces swiftly took over the entire city north of Staolima parkway and pressed against defenders on the other side of the highway. Intense firefights overwhelmed the defenders as Grinvelian forces with a strict policy of attacking without end had come directly from Field Marshall Mueller himself. Gaelic Koian Expeditionary forces "GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD MORNING! KOI!" a sarcastic soldier called out as Gaelic machine guns erupted followed by rifle fire as Grinvelians assaulted their position on the Eastern side of the city. The Expedition force was assigned to protect the dock area, the forward defense positions were practically overrun within minutes. Enemy armored units were making deep punches across the Gaelic lines only to be slowed down by Badger and Wolva tanks filling in the severe lack of manpower stretched across several miles of city. "We need arty! Call it in!" only the Koians had artillery, meaning requests would have to be made to the Koian military for artillery support. Gaelic lines were going to have to be held by manpower and they were incredibly outnumbered for their section of the city. Going back and forth across the battlelines, were Gaelic stormtroopers, the best fighting men of the UKUG were doing everything they could to keep the lines stabilized. But that was still a tough task. The Gaelics took over a theater in the Northwestern section of the city as a forward command base/defense base. It was already under fire even in the first day of the assault. "I need airsupport, across this entire battlefront, danger close. The Cabbage eating fucks are bold and rushing with armored support. We didn't bring enough tanks, sure as shit need more men. Send word to Baile Glas we need more." General Steven McNairy, a tough old Gaelic commander, veteran of the Hawaiian war and one hell of a leader was facing a tough situation. The Grinvelian military outnumbered them, had better firepower and were extremely well supplied. If he was going to make a stand here at Termingrad he needed reinforcements, badly. Reports already came in that the Zhest tank was making quick work of the Badger tank, showing the Grinvelians had a better medium tank than the Gaelics, heavy armor was nearly unstoppable. And every minute he lost dozens of soldiers. "They'll be here in a few hours, prepare to fall us back across the interstate if need be." Across the Koian interstate, Gaelic engineers and soldiers not at the front were building their best chance at holding off the Grinvelians from taking the docks. Heavily fortifying miles of buildings and collapsing some to condense the roads to slow down enemy armor. In just a few hours, General McNairy was facing the most desperate front in the war.

Termingrad Army Base, Termingrad
Several soldiers ran throughout the base, running messages and supplies between buildings. The infirmary was filled with border guards who fled from the failed border with Marrlan. The radio center was abuzz with activity, info and orders passing through as fast as the operators could speak through the systems and tap the telegraphs.
With the rails occupied north of the city, all trains would grind to a halt heading north, fully cutting the northern nations off from staol transports.
North of the army base, several thousand Koian troops engaged south of the Staolimaa Parkway to keep the Grinvelian forces at bay, allowing for citizens to evacuate southward away from the immediate fighting zone. The capital buildings were quickly abandoned after the first artillery shells struck the roofs, the city government being evacuated south to the university for now with plans to evacuate over the river if they had to. The hospitals within the north end of the city also so expedited evacuations, looking to move patients to hospitals further south or even across the river if they could make it.
The only trains to arrive to Union Station came baring the flag of Maiz, soldiers and armor filing off quickly and immediately being directed north to reinforce the lines. The tanks were much needed to aid as additional armored artillery for the front, better able to take the small arms fire from the soldiers compared to the fleshy bodies of the soldiers.
Termingrad Naval Yards
In the harbor, the naval yards saw the immediate release of their vessels into the staol bay, trying to back away from the conflict before they can be overrun or bombed by aircraft. Among the ships would be:
> 1 Ironclad Battleship > 3 Torpedo Destroyers > 4 Escort Destroyers > 8 Corvettes > 18 Patrol Boats
The forces would pull back, the patrol boats moving to keep the waters clear while setting up shop south of the river, while the larger vessels scanned for other threats. They'd maintain in the water for a bit, pondering their options. They'd drift further away, before the ironclad, the KOM LG Graniit Amarüll, would fire a single salvo towards the Grinvelian lines further north of the city. Trying not to hit the city for fear of injuring any civilians that were unable to escape, the rounds were aiming to strike the rail- and roadways to complicate supplies. With that single salvo fired, the force would steam off south towards Philadelphia, knowing they wouldn't be able to put up much of a fight if any aircraft began attacking them with their lackluster anti-aircraft capabilities.
Within the dockyards itself, only 2 torpedo destroyers remained, holding fast docked to the aid as an escape route for any who might need it.

Grinvel met fierce initial resistance reaching the Staolima parkway and its southern embankment, initial forces reported a collection of multi-national troops defending the Koian city a report Mueller found amusing. "They call all die together." He mused, sending his forces on a massive aerial campaign to bomb Termingrad's central railyard with the construction of the new airfield and deployment of Grinvelian medium bombers. The bombings had some success at first, until Gaelic Starwolf fighters engaged them. Sending the bombers back North, Mueller was now forced to pull more air support from Harbaville, he also ordered for more air squadrons to be deployed in the South away from the Reich. As the Grinvelian bombardment failed, the Gaelics launched their own counter aerial bombardment, all of their medium Granna-Ra bombers and CAS T-30 fighter/bombers began striking Grinvelian front line troops stunning the assault for a moment but incurring the wrath of Grinvelian flak guns that shot down 3 medium bombers. Fighting in the urban sprawl became an intense hell of soldiers pulling wounded away and firing across shattered buildings. Grinvel for now found their progress slightly halted but their sheer numbers meant they could replace fallen troops at a much quicker and even pace than the CN or Koian troops. Grinvel's focus would be to launch a large scale armored assaulted in the west and take the large airport. They would send 10,000 heavy infantry 10,000 mechanized standard infantry 30 light tanks 40 medium tanks and 40 landships to assault the Western lines to seize the Koian international airport. UKUG "Rip and Tide boys! Rip and TIDE!" the Gaelics were fairing well in the Northeastern section of the city, holding the Grinvelians and pinning their larger numbers back with the urban environment. When their air units struck the Grinvelians several soldiers cheered as bombs fell on the Grinvelians forcing them to halt their assault for the moment. The UKUG positions would hold for this stage of the battle, their heavier infantry and the support of stormtroopers made defending against the Grinvelian horde slightly easier than what their comrades in Harbaville faced. Grecian reinforcements Aristoma, Anthia and Maiz were sending more troops to Koi via its southern border. While Kovus sent most of her military to aid Nevarra and Maiz already had troops in Koi and Marrlan fighting, the rest of the Grecian alliance began its march to reach Termingrad. Despite some concerns within their individual governments that they were sending all of their best fighting men to fight in another country leaving them with little to nothing. It was understood that Termingrad's fall would be the end of the war. Anthia 20,000 light infantry 1,000 special infantry 500 howitzers 300 mortars 40,000 motorized standard infantry 30,000 motorized heavy infantry 40 armored cars 100 supply trucks Aristoma 3,000 light infantry 5,000 standard infantry 5,000 heavy infantry 4,000 dragoon infantry 5,000 carabineers 1,200 field guns 900 howitzers 50 seige guns 30,000 motorized standard infantry 19,000 motorized heavy infantry 200 supply trucks Maiz 30,000 conscripts 20 heavy bi-plane fighters 20 monoplane fighters/interceptors Maiz had deployed the last of her fighting men aside from a few thousand professional troops and 30,000 conscripts to guard the Republic. General Sanders was committing the entire army of the Corn Republic to the war, winning in Termingrad was essential to keep the fight going.

Koian National Railway Termingrad Rail Yard
The first Grinvelian bombing run saw success in assaulting a few trains parked within the rail yard. Some sidings saw their tracks ripped away in explosions while a few bombs managed to hit their marks on parked locomotives and sorted boxcars that'd been waiting to be used elsewhere. With the bombing campaign, the evacuation trains were ordered to get out before further raids could destroy the mainline and trap the civilians.
Casualties
Koi: 3 Medium Steam Locomotives Destroyed 1 Light Steam Locomotive Destroyed 5 Boxcars Destroyed 2 Flatcars Destroyed
Aerial Battle
With the Gaelic Starwolves pushing away the Grinvelian bombers, the skies over Termingrad were soon filled with the sounds of engines buzzing from both sides as Grinvelian fighters were scrambled to fight back the Gaelic fighters. Gunshots riddled the air as both sides fired on each other and their bombers, trying to best the other and have a decisive victory in the air. The Gaelics were soon joined by the combined Koian and Maizan aircraft that joined in the defense of Gaelic bombers and chasing down Grinvelian fighters. The combined strength helped the Gaelic CAS to attack the Grinvelian trenches north of the city, only having to really contend with ground flak.
Casualties Grinvel: 9 Light Bombers Downed 5 Light Fighters Downed
Ulster-Gaelia: 2 Medium Bombers Downed 4 Light Fighters Downed 1 Heavy Fighter Downed 1 CAS Fighter Downed
Maiz: 1 Light Fighter Biplane Downed
Koi: 2 Light Fighter Biplanes Downed
Assault over the Staolima Parkway
With the combined forces of the Gaelic, Koian, Maizan, and Grecian states, the armor of all the nations was quickly rounded up and prepped to cross the parkway to assault the Grinvel positions. The highly urbanized area made the smaller tankettes and armored cars beneficial against the slower moving and bulky medium and heavy tanks. Unfortunately, despite their maneuverability and ability to get within tighter gaps between buildings, their light armor and weak armaments proved ineffective against the heavier tanks the Grinvelians were sending in droves to assault the city to make some headway.

Räsi, Suur Rannik
As the troops transports rushed their way northbound, one train would grind to a halt in the small port city of Räsi. The Kumo soldiers on board grew antsy from the waiting, watching as their supply and fellow troop transports continue to race off towards Termingrad. A group of staolliers steamed into port, their holds empty but the heads of many sat peaking out over the railings as the boats tooted their horns. Their wait would soon come to an end as an additional five thousand troops, wearing uniforms not known to them of any modernized nation, would climb aboard in the rear empty cars of the train. The guard's whistle blew before much could be debated by the Kumo soldiers, the train lurching forward and soon gaining significant speed to catch back up with its comrades. The commander of the group of Kumo troops would soon find herself face-to-face with a man bearing a Colonel insignia before he'd outstretch his hand to her. "Colonel Alistair Davison, foreign detachment of the Imperium of Eleria's army to aid in the defense of the Republic of Koi."
Termingrad
As the troop trains chugged their way towards the city, they'd watch as civilian trains rushed past in the opposite direction, filled to the brim with evacuating families. The last of the evacuation trains even gave a solemn whistle to the passing reinforcements, steaming off into the distance to safer land as the Kumo and Elerians charged headfirst into the encompassing danger.
The troop transports steamed into Termingrad Central Station, where the rail guards quickly helped them disembark and get towards the front lines. The walker transports and supplies halted in the rail yard, parking among the many halted trains. The walkers were the first to be unloaded from the flatcars, their presence necessary in the northern assault. The remainder of their supplies were handed out to the various front commands, the several thousand new soldiers being spread out wherever they needed aid, which just so happened to be everywhere from the airport to the docks.
The following have joined the front:

GrinvelGrinvel forces had taken over most of Northern Termingrad and were pressing hard toward the international airport when reinforcements arrived. First it was the Grecians, fresh combat infantry and minor vehicle support bought time, time to allow the battle weary defenders to dig in and fight on another day. When the Kumo forces arrived, it sent Grinvel into a full panic. Suddenly the defending forces of Termingrad outnumbered them, had more armor and forced Grinvel to adopt defensive postures. Mueller scrambled to pull armored units from Harbaville and additional forces South. Losing here was unacceptable, "Fucking Spiders. They won't ruin this." Mueller began a massive shift of forces South to combat the rising tidal wave of international forces at the Koian city. 300 medium tanks 240 self propelled flak 1,000 light tanks 200 armored cars 150 tankettes 100 heavy tanks 200 CAS fighters 2,000 field artillery 50,000 light infantry 90,000 standard infantry Mueller also ordered for Fiegler to send troops as soon as possible. His grip on the city of Termingrad was becoming loose, he couldn't lose here. A massive artillery barrage would be ordered, blanketing the city and opposing CN forces to buy time for aerial units to be properly reassigned South. The Grinvelians on the ground began a hard campaign of urban fighting to hold onto what they had. Engineers began sabotage missions across the city to deny CN counter assaults into main roadways where the Grinvelian army was staging. With the Kumo deployment came a much more even battlefield, with Grinvel already fighting tooth and nail to maintain supply lines into the battle that were aligned next to another major urban battle, Mueller was no fool, the board was set. He was facing a catastrophic problem, he relayed to his comrades in Grinvel that supplies needed to be prioritized South and that Galra needed to breach the Western defenses. NOW.
