With the horrors of gas being introduced to the battlefield, Marrlan turned to the party partially responsible for its deployment. Not in spite, but in interest. The previously extended olive branch for support was tapped in question of a joint project for development of other chemical arms to further retaliate against the SU. An internal project of using Bromine gas was proposed as it had been conceived but never left the planning stage until now, especially considering Marrlan's chemical production was lacking and almost entirely dedicated to supporting medical infrastructure and incendiary weapon usage. A further hand was extended to other CoN members to come together and develop further weapons in retaliation.

Familiar faces in unfamiliar colors came to converse on the affair. Mention of a "jointed decision" among Pomaz guards implies a degree of a domestic united sentiment for project contribution. The Pomazan envoys recommend a lending docket for the time being, wishing only to provide materials for research and development.

The Orthorian response had come characteristically slowly, though once proper attention was given to the proposal, the breadth of Orthorian support was shown. Although the Solidarists who had initially received the communique were skeptical of further development of chemical weapons, they had passed the message along to the 6th Army, who, in turn, passed it along to Volgora, which threw its full support behind. Wishing for assistance with construction projects that were "best discussed in person", the State of Orthoria would, in turn, pledge approximately a fifth of its present stockpile of chemicals for the project.
In addition to the official government response, the "Zemun" Interest Group reached out to the Marrish government as well, in order to collaborate more closely on future chemical weapons development projects.

With more materials to work with, experimentation with Bromine weaponry would commence. The 3 main projects that would be pushed for were: Easily man portable solutions:Smoke grenade's would be converted for this purpose along with the previously made Thermite Gel grenades for their ability to disperse less solid payloads. The Imolator platform would also be looked to for a man portable gas dispersing option to keep its lethal effects more localized. Gas Bombs:The BDC/A-35(Bromine Dispersal Canister/Aircraft) that burst in the air after a timed fuse detonated to disperse liquid bromine over a large area, allowing the liquid to evaporate into the heavier than air gas and drift over a large area the gas' increasing area of effect. Gas Shells:Similar in concept to the BDC/A, the BDC/S(Bromine Dispersal Canister/Shell) 2 variants would be made. One with a timed fuse to detonate over enemy positions with timers fed data based on Time-to-Target information from forward observers and a simple contact fuse that detonated once they struck an object. All 3 projects would be brought up to the participating nations for consideration as testing began.

Having been given the task of cooperating with the Marrish government for chemical weapons development, Interest Group "Zemun" deliberated heavily on which projects they would be supporting the development of. Given the limited resources and the immediate need for returns on project investments, only two could be safely supported by the Orthorian government. After an extraordinary meeting, which included the Ministry of Defense and even the Ministry of Labour, the Interest Group had sent a reply to the Marrish government that they would be supporting the following projects, with appropriate resource allocations from nearly 150 units of chemicals set aside:
Gas Shells - 90 units of chemicals Easily man portable solutions - 60 units of chemicals
