A group of Marrish researchers reached up their CoC to make a request. With confirmation of Galran walker use on the Lusatian front, a project for a heavy support walker was proposed and the Lusatians, with hope, would have the parts needed to jump start such an idea. In no short order, a telegram would arrive in Lusatian hands with a request for a joint reverse engineering project. The team, organizing what research they had from the Armored Hen project, waited patiently.

The Lusatians confirmed they did, indeed have materials from Galran walkers that would be intact enough for research. Though they expressed skepticism at designing their own walkers, they did hope that advances in armor for their vehicles and fortifications might be possible, to better resist future Galran blows.
The Lusatians informed Marrlan that cooperation could begin pending the arrival of Marrish researchers, as Lusatia doubted the feasibility of transporting any high-value cargo to Marrlan given current control of the seas.

Upon receiving Lusatian acceptance, the team would be loaded up and transported ASAP. With a design already finalized, a single test bed variant of the BSP-34 "Ostrich" would accompany them to give a more direct example of Marrish technology beyond the documents and the researchers themselves.
A response would be delivered in kind stating they would arrive soon. The team agreed that transporting such important things would be impractical considering the circumstances.

Welcoming the researchers from Marrlan, Lusatia led them to the remnants of the Galran walkers. None were in operable condition - having suffered damage in one place or another that made them incapable of movement and/or weapons fire - but there was enough material there to begin the process of reverse-engineering.
