1960 Trzebina Olympic games
[No panic! This was ok-ed by EpicToaster]
Attending Nations:
Hosting: Dark Green
Attending: Light Green
Invited: Yellow
Rejected: Red
Uninvited: White
Background:
The lead-up to the 1960 Trzebina Olympics saw immense change in several regions of the northern hemisphere, resulting in many regions otherwise included being uninvited in this competition. Included in these numbers were the warring nations of Regania and Weracht, Noordenstan and Zuidenstan due to International Olympic Committee (IOC) debate on how to handle the two nations that each claimed the other. Meanwhile, Eonivelt, still unrecognized by many nations competing, was not invited, though it is unlikely that they would've been able to compete anyway, due to the lack of permission for anyone other than diplomatic personnel from Eonivelt being allowed into Lusatia.
Furthermore, some nations have special permission to send multiple teams for each event: Lusatia sends both a team from Lusatia proper and Jzegrad, due to the historical autonomy granted to Jzegrad. Similarly, each princedom in Tyvia was invited to send a team, due to the decentralized character of Tyvia, though it was expected that each princedom would be unable to send athletes for each and every event. [OOC: if you wish for multiple teams, and have a similar reason to the other examples, PM me, and I'll edit this to include your exception]
Finally, for species that held advantages over humans and demi-humans in certain events, said events would have multiple versions of each medal type, for the best competitor of each species (to prevent Koians from running away with the long jump/high jump golds), though each team would be limited in the amount of athletes they could enter in each event, as normal. For team events, mixed race teams could face mixed race teams, so long as each side had an equal number of demi-humans/humans. Rosters would be allowed to include more than can participate in anticipation of such restrictions.
