The Republican Army maintains a rationing of five days of munitions, rations, and water in the event an army group is cut off. Motorized units maintain seven days worth of supplies owing to their fast movement.
The Army Engineer Corps of Amali
The Republican Army is largely supported by its own corps of engineers, the Corpo del Genio dell'Esercito or CGE (Corps of Engineers of the Army, literal), who is tasked with maintaining supply vehicles and infrastructure. The CGE are trained in developing and rapidly expanding infrastructure in captured and hostile territories, mostly trained with an invasion of Verak in mind. A full and well-trained CGE group is capable of laying over 8.85 kilometers (5.5 miles) a day under fire, and over 16 kilometers (10 miles) per day in peacetime at maximum output. During peacetime, the CGE are deployed to nations to help rebuild infrastructure and buildings, and provide local relief during and after storms. The CGE often work alongside the Guardia Costiera (Coast Guard) and Corpo del Genio della Marina (Corps of Engineers of the Navy, literal) to support coastal regions and nations not directly bordering Amali. The CGE often employ around 37,000 to 42,000 depending on the time. More engineers are brought into the CGE during war to help with logistics and maintenance.
