Shah Mohammad Reza

The most hated man in Eonivelt.  The Shah is considered single-handedly responsible for the fall of Astusden.  His government was brutal and corrupt.  He was forced to abdicate most of his powers after the Shahdom's loss in the Great War, though he remained an important figure.  Shortly afterwards the Revolution took place forcing the Shah to abandon his country and seek asylum in his neighbor, Lusatia.  He has remained a vocal critic of the Eoni government, and has sworn to return and put the rebels in their place.  However that is unlikely as the Shah is known to be suffering of cancer.  His days are numbered, but those close say that he is to stubborn of a man to die.

Crown Prince Reza

The young heir to the title of Shah, Reza is a complex figure.  Unlike his father he has no ambitions on returning to Astusden as a noble.  Instead he is working in tandem with the Republicans to try and establish peaceable relations with the new Eoni state.  With his father's condition slowly getting worse he has taken over most of the family's affairs.  Currently he is the head of the exiled government of Astusden, a position he is using to attempt to open relations between the rest of the world and Eonivelt, hoping that such a thing will allow former Astusdeni to return to their homes.

Mohammad Afshani

Former Prime Minister of Astusdeni, he was elected in the brief election prior to the end of the war.  Deposed in a military coup d'état he was the leader of the Republicans in the civil war.  Now he serves as a united leader for the Republicans and works with Crown Prince Reza to try and ensure a united Astusdeni government in exile.

Mrgu Himami

Former head of the SAVAK Mrgu is currently serving as intelligence minister in the Republican government.  While technically a wanted criminal throughout the globe, Mrgu is believed dead by most of the world's governments after the revolution stormed the SAVAK HQ.  Mrgu is only known to the Republicans as a former Army Officer.  The only person alive who could definitely identify her is the Shah, who she will through great lengths to avoid.  There are potentially others, but they are located in Eonivelt and as such are not a huge threat to outing her secret.
