Pre-historic times (unknown - 650 CE)
It is mostly unknown what was going on in the territories of when the Tyvian Empire lies now, for records of that time are mostly lost to the annals of history - if such records ever even existed. Thus the name for this period - Pre-historic times, for researches have not yet uncovered what history happened during that period. The very few records that do exist, however, indicate a prominent City State of Byranun, what is nowdays the capital of the Empire - Berun. It is known that it was one of the largest trade hubs in Reseria. It has most prominently traded with the peoples who lives on the territories of the rest of the modern Empire, as well as modern Amali, Ida Koi and Fenvaria.

Kingdom of Tyvia (650 CE - 900 CE)
As the City State of Byranun grew in power, wealth and population, it needed to grow in territory. The problem was, however, that the neighboring lands, known largely as Tyvia, were the lands of nomads and several other city states. The only way to expand was conquest. With the help of several armies of mercenaries that the City State was able to hire on the immense wealth it has aquired in the last at least 650 years, however, the lands were quickly conquered, and then integrated into Byranunian culture. The newly born nation has adopted the name of the territory it has conquered, and the Tyvian Kingdom was born. For the next couple centuries, it continued to grow.

First Tyvian Empire (900 CE - 1100)
While it is mostly unknown what set off the First War of the Northern Expansion, many believe it was the wish of King Charle Karoling II, king of Tyvia from 886 CE to 932 CE, to, as the leaser of the most powerful political body in Reseria (in the lands known to Tyvia, at least), to unite the North under a single banner. While he has not completed his goal entirely, roughly a quarter of the lands that are modern Tyvian Empire have been under his control by 915 CE. It was then that he has declared himself Emperor Charle I, and the First Tyvian Empire, sometimes referred to as the First Reich, has been established. In addition, during this period, the name of the capital was gradually simplified. In the period from 912 CE to 1015 were referring to it as Byranun, then Byran, until in 1016 there has been evidence of the name Berun.
