Being one of the largest, when it comes to territory, nation in Ouhiri, Galra Automobile industry has become one of the best in the world, rivaled probably only by Ida Koi. As a result, Galra automobiles, both oil-based and Staol powered, are popular among buyers all over the world, with some poor developing nations having their vehicle fleets consisting entirely of Galra automobiles thanks to a few brands that make cars that are purely utilitarian - and thus extremely cheap.
This thread only contains cars produced by Galra automakers that are offered for export abroad.

FORDThe Ford Automobile company, established in 1915, was one of the first to devise the trend of mass-produced cheap cars available to the general public, as opposed to the expensive master made cars available only to the rich upper class.Ford Model A (design 1928)
The oldest Ford that's still popular, Model A was the second car in the Ford family. Replacing the dated Model T, the Model A, just like it's predecessor, was meant as a cheap car for the masses. With a $385 pricetag when it was released, nowdays the Ford Model A is not much more, at just $450.Ford V8 (design 1934)
With a new sleeker design, the Ford V8 was more comfortable for riding, and more importantly - much faster, thanks to the brand new design of a V8 engine, allowing it to soar to speeds never before available to the common man. This made the car very popular among emergency services fleets, and you can still see some police Ford V8's in less developed regions of Galra. Currently priced at $500.Ford Mainline 1939Radically improving on the sleekness to allow better aerodynamics and thus, better fuel economy, the new Mainline line became a series of cars, slowly evolving with time. Ford spokesperson claims that technically, all previous Fords could be considered Mainline, starting with Model T, but the 1939 model is the first time the term was used. Current price - $500.Ford Mainline 1942As Galra became more involved in the Great War, the economy had to focus away from the civilian market. Ford, who dedicated a lot of it's factories to the war effort, was now producing tanks, half-tracks and jeeps. However, it also took effort to show the resilience of Galra economy by rolling out a brand new affordable civilian automobile in the midst of the greatest crisis of modern times. The new car had the usual steel frame, but with unique wooden paneling instead of usual steel for the sides and back. More resembling a wagon than a sedan of the era, this model was also meant to encourage people to share rides to conserve fuel for the war effort, with a third row of seats in the back, allowing for a total of 9 people to ride in the car. The third seat row could be folded, however, to allow extra luggage space. Current price - $550Ford F-100 1942One area where smaller cars were lacking at first was the cargo transport. Devised for farmers and skilled workers originally, the first model of the Ford pickup truck came out in 1919, and was a modification of the Ford Model T, later becoming it's own separate nameplate with unique design. Current price - $575.Ford Panel Truck 1940Devised originally as a special order for a military who needed van type cars for small ambulances, the Panel Truck became a staple alternative to the pickup truck, often favored by more commercial businesses. Current price - $575Ford M25As the Great War became increasingly motorized, Galra needed to update their truck fleet. After trials, in 1925, the Ford Cargo was accepted into service as the M25. Now as the war ended, and newer trucks available to the Galra Armed Forces, the M25 has entered the surplus market, retiring to it's original role of civilian medium cargo trucks. Current price - $1,100Ford Minibus 1942In 1929, as the need raised for smaller buses for purposes such as privatized public transport - as the government programs for public transport were cut due to the war effort - Ford tried to merge the cab of the Mainline, the 1928 Model A, with a bus-style body attached to it's back. The result was a success. While these buses were smaller than the buses used by government funded public transport and inter-city bus companies, they proved popular as they were cheaper and required less fuel and maintenance to run. As the war ended and regular public transport was coming back, the original need for the minibus was depleting, but it proved popular for other needs, where transport of large number of people was required - such as school buses. Current price - $775Ford 8MT 1945As the war ended, Ford rolled out a brand new model of bus for the post-war rebuilding. With it's sleek look and rather large passenger capacity, while still being small enough to fit comfortably on tight urban roads, this bus quickly became the most popular mode of public transport that didn't require rails. Current price - $875

GENERAL MOTORSThe second most important car company in Galra, GM is a giant parent company that oversees various brands that it has purchased over the years. The makes owned my GM include their own GMC, and the purchased makes such as Chevrolet, Cadillac, Buick. Studebaker and more. Chevrolet Fleetline 1940Living up to it's ambitious name, the Fleetline is the first Chevrolet automobile to win over fleet vehicle contracts from Ford. Favored by urban police departments and upper middle class citizens, the Fleetline is the second most popular nameplate in Galra after Ford's Mainline. Current price - $510Chevrolet C10 1944The main competitor of Ford's F100 line, the C10 offers simpler features at reduced cost. Current price - $525Chevrolet C15 1944Starting out as a companion rather than a competitor to Ford's Panel Truck due to the military's need in numbers, the C15 eventually won over the civilian market as it focused less on style and more on practicality. Current Price - $550Cadillac Fleetwood 1940Colloquially known as THE luxury car, no expense was spared when designing and building this automobile. If you own a Cadillac, everyone knows you're an upstanding citizen of the upper class, and it is the aspiration of most, as this car's nameplate is viewed by many as the synonym of success. Current price - $1,850Dodge Power Wagon 1942A retired military workhorse. This truck isn't really in competition with the Chevy C10 or the Ford 150, as it fills it's own niche. Larger, stronger and more powerful, it is suited for heavy duty jobs where the lighter trucks just won't cut it. The catch - it's more expensive, and the fuel economy is worse. Also some view it as rather ugly, as it is basically a scaled down cargo truck. Current price - $650.
GMC COE 1945
Thanks to it's short cab design and versatility of the cargo area, the COE is the cargo truck of choice of urban deliveries and municipal services. Flatbed, fridge, fuel tank, garbage collector and snowplowing are just few of the roles this truck can take on. Current price - $720
