"With the finale of the Agricultural Plan it is time to move on to the Industrial Plan," Nikita said, finishing up her report on the Agricultural Plan. It had been a resounding success. The first step of the Five Year Plan secured a stable food source for the population to allow for the next step, the industrialization. "I yield the floor to Minister Perón."
Eva Perón stood up to begin her presentation as Nikita took her seat. "Thank you Minister Khrush. So the biggest problem facing the Industrial Plan is infrastructure." She traced the map on the table. "We are still repairing the roads and rail lines from the Revolution. We also are lacking the electrical infrastructure. So the first steps for the plan are electrification and infrastructure. The hurdle there is fuel. We are barely keeping the lights on as it is. We need to approach the outside world if we want to industrialize further. That is where Minister Bonaparte comes in." She would gesture to the Minister of the Internationale who would nod.
"I have determined that we should approach the Republic of Koi," Lucina said nodding. "Their Staol is the best fuel we can get access to and we border them. If we secure that route as a stable partner we will not be lacking in the fuel department."
"If that is the case I endorse this plan of action," Atia said, while her twin nodded in agreement. "However I am concerned that reaching out to the world will put us in danger from certain avenues. Minister Kiryu, please fill us in on our neighbor."
"Galra is a threat for sure, however I don't think they are stupid enough to try anything," the Minister of Defense stated matter of factly. "The entire world knows the strength of the Red Army. They saw how quickly the breakaway Velts were brought back into line. I do think they likely believe that they are superior, however I doubt they will challenge the Red Army." She pointed to the border. "Even so we have ensured that the border garrisons are at full strength and the Armor Corps are ready to move at a moments notice. If they do try anything you can rest assured we will crush them."
"Then we have a start to Stage 2," Atio said finally. "Minister Bonaparte you are to secure us the fuel we need. Minister Perón start on the infrastructure, I want to be able to have the Red Army moved across the Union at a moments notice. We have finally stabilized the Union. It is time to talk to the rest of the world. It is time to show the capitalists the true might of the Revolution."
