Parliament votes down immigration reform
Parliament has shot down a proposal to allow expanded immigration into the United Kingdom today, the nation currently has some of the strictest immigration policies in Ouhiri. Prime Minister Moriarty commented, "We are not interested in the progressives need and want to bring in foreigners to live among us, as long as we conservatives hold majority, we will keep Ulster-Gaelia a Celtic nation. Not some multi-cultural assembly." The Royal house made no official comment as Queen McDonald was busy in Faroe, meeting with local lords and farmers on increasing potato production to boost the agricultural sector.
Zedonian war memorial finished in Sepedia
A memorial commemorating the veterans of the Zedonian war (1935-1937) has been completed, the conflict which saw native rebels attempt to strike an independent state from the UK through military conflict. The war became a brutal task for the UK to retain its largest oversea colony, but after years of fighting the rebels were defeated and the colony retained to the UK. The memorial is located in the colonial capital of Sepedia and is planned to be visited by the Queen later in the year.

Mini finishes factory upgrades
Gaelian automaker Mini announced that their Dublin factory upgrade has been completed, the factory will pump out a massive number of Mini cars for the general public with plans to expand sales into the international market. The factory will provide over 2,500 new jobs, and Mini plans to generate income selling the Mini subcompact car cheaper than any other in its class.
Big Tuna
A multi-million pound industry has entered the international market, tuna fishing is flourishing in Ulster-Gaelia as hundreds of fishing boats return with hundreds of pounds worth of fish. The lucrative market is attracting new companies to form trying to capitalize on one of the biggest and most experience fishing fleets in the world. It was reported that 300 million pounds was generated in the fishing industry last year, and growth is expected as more boats enter the fleet.

International Airport projects bid war ends
Two massive international Airports for Edinburgh and New Esborn have been greenlit by Parliament and the crown, national bidding for the projects fell to two large contracting companies who have been given a deadline to have the airports built within the next two years. The UK hopes that the two airports, which will operate as two aerial poles of the greater realm, will expand trade and influence across the Shawbalt and Nardrac.
Parliament passes multi-million pound military bill
The new military budget has been agreed on by the lords of Parliament, expansions into the various branches as well as proper salaries will cost the realm in the range of 482.1 million pounds.

Parliament passes KAUTA
In a rather decisive sweep, Parliament has voted to approve the Kumosenkan-Amali-UKUG Tripartite Alliance. Going forward, Ulster-Gaelia will defend Kumosenkan and Amali with its military and plans to further trade interaction have been put forward.

Gaelian Auto industry prepares to enter allied markets
A massive push by several Gaelian automakers to enter Lusatia, Kumosenkan, Amali, Kaireli and some affiliate markets is being made following Mini's success entering the international market. Mini has reported a strong quarter in sales overseas in selling the sub compact car as a budget vehicle. Rolls Royce and Celtic Auto will be pushing their brands to compete with Mini who has reported the strongest quarter of the Big Three in the UK Auto industry.
Atari becomes dominate tech company
Soaring to the top of making electronic components for the UK and securing an exclusivity deal with the military, Tobias Bushnell now owns the largest tech company in the United Kingdom. Bushnell, a researcher who helped propel the UK military during the Fifth Staol war with new technologies such as radar and advanced radio, has become an overnight millionaire. The company now produces over 95% of all electronics and components sold domestically within the UK and sold into the international market. Bushnell told the press he plans to hand his company directly to his son Nolan who was born just a few years ago.

Alba Nuclear Research facility finished
A nuclear research facility for Gaelia has opened in Northern rural Alba, the facility plans to expand nuclear understanding for the United Kingdom and begin the process of developing nuclear technology for the UKUG. A sister site in Criton has been approved by Parliament and is to begin construction immediately, these facilities will primarily focus on sustaining nuclear power to limit Ulster-Gaelia's dependence on Staol as well as weaponizing nuclear capabilities.
Zedonia gets railroad expansion
Finally, after years of bitter debate, Parliament approved a massive 5.6 million pound expansion of the Zedonian-Touli Railway. The expansion will help in developing the rural western frontier and connect towns to grow the economy of the colony. The expansion comes coupled with a large military facility set to be built near the Western border region and the railway supporting it.
