1945 Space Act

The Vivanico Space Center has received its final round of funding, preparing to complete the space center by early mid-year in 1946. The final round of budgets have the total cost at around A$980 million, with the current round accounting for A$135 million to complete the space center and various offshoots (contact to be done in the city of Rumen, development of space technologies in the south-western city of Miran).

New Energy Initiative Act
In order to help fuel a growing economy, Congress has approved of a A$50 million budget to help subsidize research and development of solar and wind technology. While the technology has existed in Amali since 1880, the usage of it for anything other than a marvelous novelty has never been widely accepted due to Staol's relative abundance. However, as the country seeks to finish electrifying itself, the last 29 million people in the nation that need power will be receiving it through the non-Staol means while the power generation methods are developed and the grid begins to shift to staol independence.

CRR (Coal, Raw Resources) Act

To help the nation's military expand, the government has begun subsidizing the creation of coal mines in the north and west and expanding the raw resource extraction facilities. The Act is planned to elapse in five years, only renewed until the goods labeled in this act should be at a level to provide for the nation.

Economic Recovery Act

In addition to providing a new power initiative for the remaining population, a new initiative was set forth by Senator Calvina Moretti to help the northern desert territories expand and improve their existing industry since the previous economic recession. The act also covers, to a lesser extent, the Basin States and their industries but they have largely recovered from the recession. The extreme north has been having a hard time trying to recover, and thus requires a much more specialized approach. In addition to the finances provided by the CECO Act, this targets small businesses in the north to help alleviate the stress.

Air Force Expansion Act
To help prepare the military for a transition from staol to an independent energy source, Congress has approved the addition of {500 points} new oil powered air craft to be completed by several companies ranging from CAS to heavy bombers to be produced over the next few years. An additional {100 points} fleet-based aircraft have been scheduled for completion by early year due to the new models being developed.

As an addendum to the Act, Congress has passed an act providing capital to Airwing Jets to prototype new versions of the adopted jet fighter, which is mostly used to enforce local order over the northern tribes and prevent incursions into Amalian territory.

Minors' Acquisition of Independent Status Act
Congress has, near unanimously, passed a reform making it required for all children born in 1940 and onward to pass a citizen test upon graduation to receive their full rights as citizens of Amali. This applies to dependents who emigrated from another nation.

Approval for Kumosenkan-Amali-UKUG Tripartite Alliance

The Amalian Congress has approved the KAUTA Treaty by a margin of 203 to 67 in the Parliament and 243 to 57 in the Senate. The bill was set forth earlier this month and has achieved a large support in part of tensions building in the Open Sea. A delegation is being sent to a meeting on Kumosenkan between the three signatories to finalize information about the treaty. However, as it stands, it is a defensive alliance in the interim.

Approval for Kumosenkan-Amali Trade Treaty
Unlike the prior treaty, the Kumosenkan-Amali Trade Treaty (KATT) has been approved due to its lucrative nature. Amali and Kumosenkan have agreed to lower tariffs on specific goods between the two nations, and Amali has agreed to sell food products to Kumosenkan directly in exchange for necessary materials. The final tally came to: 255 to 45 in Favor in the Parliament and 277 to 23 in Favor in the Senate.
