"A pleasure it is," Tagomi replied. "Please - have a seat" He motioned towards a table that had only enough seats for each person currently in the room, although the size of the table made it clear that more chairs could be added in case of a larger meeting. Two glasses were positioned at each table, one larger and one almost a shot-sized, with glass water bottles next to each seat. The head seat, at which Tagomi has sat down, also had a smaller clay bottle with no markings.
Once everyone was seated, Tagomi began to speak. "I hope you are finding your visit pleasant so far. I was told that Kaireli is on the distant continent of Touli. I remember visiting it a few times in my youth - although I was in the Northern part, in Elenria. Tell me more about your nation."

The ambassador sat down, his corp of diplomats following suit. He thought for a moment, thinking what the best way to describe Kaireil would be to answer Togami's question. He decided it may as well be best to start off with the relative location and present some information that could intrigue Tagomi, so he looked down to his bad and got out a map of Touli, unfolding it in front of Tagomi. The ambassador marked Kaireil on Touli and turned the map to Tagomi so he could see where it was in Touli.
"That's the relative location, Kaireil is in the subarctic given it is near the south pole; I am indeed enjoying the pleasantries within the Ashigawa Empire. Regarding Kaireil, we are a constitional monarchy hailing from the Kaireili Royal Family, economically shifting further to a maritime focus given our respective location and expanding our universities respectively to sponsor further investments into research." The Ambassador said politely not wishing to overshare, afraid they'd be looked down upon by Ashigawa given their real condition.

Tagomi adjusted his glasses as he took a look at the map. As Jahangiri was explaining the location of Kaireil, Tagomi was running through his head what he could remember of the recent history of the continent. His interest was quite peaked when Jahangiri mentioned the proximity to the South Pole.
"How have the Western Empires been treating both you and your neighbors?" Tagomi asked a short while after Jahangiri finished speaking. "Ever since Kumosenkan and Gaelians have took control there, Ashigawa had little contact with your lands."

"We recently negotiated out of a Ulster-Gaelia Commonwealth because it wasn't beneficial for us, especially with the Major Staol War disrupting our access to staol. Some of our neighbors are quite influenced, Elenria being a Kumosenkan Colony is the most notable. I can't say the treatment of Ulster-Gaelia and Kumosenkan has exactly been pleasant, but starting from 1930s after our exit from the Commonwealth, they haven't impeded on our interests to a excessive extent." Ambassador Jahangiri replied.

Tagomi couldn't help but slightly show disdain on his face when Jahangiri mentioned that Kumosenkan still has a major presence on the continent, but as it didn't have to do anything with this meeting, for now, at least, he didn't say anything.
"And what sort of relationship do you seek with Ashigawa?"

"Kaireil is interested in any way it could expand economically, militarily, socially or otherwise. Our interest is in our propserity and hopefully the propserity of nations in turn, we are seeking out numerous nations at this time for that very reason, to better understand their interests. So to answer your question directly, it depends on what exactly would benefit Ashigawa and Kaireil." The Ambassador replied.

"You have mentioned expansion of universities and research," Tagomi said, putting down the map. "As it happens, the Imperial Institute is also looking for new frontiers to explore. Do you have any intentions regarding the South Pole?"

"There are future plans to set up weather stations in the South Pole. For both research purposes, for internal trade and intelligence. It's a project that will be carried out soon I wager" The ambassador said in response.

"I believe our goals could would be aligned for such a plan. Would Kaireil perhaps be open to a deal?" Tagomi said, as he leaned forward.

The ambassador thought for a moment before responding, "Kaireil would be open to such a deal, but we'll have to come back with a economic advisor and experts specifically. Though due to our current situation negotiations can be arranged soon due to our diplomatic vacancies currently."

"I am hoping for their swift arrival. As a show of good faith, we can gift your nation a transport airplane. And a pilot, of course, who would fly you over to Touli and train your pilots to use it. It would certainly be faster than ship you arrived in. Meanwhile, I would like to propose to begin establishing our embassies in each other's nation."

"Thank you for the gift of planes, our airforce will evaluate whether training from Ashigawa is necessary upon landing. As for a embassy, I have a document which you'll have to sign along with me in order to justify the construction of a embassy. I'd send your architects, workers, ambassador and diplomats at once to our capital of Sahaj. On that note, would you permit The Imperial Territories of Kaireil to do the same in Ashigawa?" The ambassador asked, motioning one of the diplomats to stand up and prepare to go to the plane for transport back to the capital.

"That would be great," Tagomi said, as he stood up and walked over to second door in the room, much closer to his seat than the one the Kaireli entered. Opening it, he said something in Ashigawan, and two young Odaru, a man and a woman, both dressed in similar suits as Tagomi, walked in, carrying platters with paper and writing utensils. One would be set in front of the ambassador and the other - at Tagomi's seat who, in the meantime, sat back down. The two Odaru then left the room. Tagomi then took a pen and began writing in Common on one side of the paper. "This document would be official confirmation of the beginning of our relations. Additionally, it would give the order to the concerned parties to provide the airplane and pilot." As he finished, he put the paper to the side. "I would be happy to sign your document right now, if you're ready."

"Understood" The ambassador responded.
The ambassador read of the documents a few times before signing the documents allowing for the pilot and airplane. He signed the documents quickly with his signature before marking it with his seal before sliding it back to Yogami. He then took out his documents passed it to Yogami afterwards awaiting a signature before they could finally initiate further relations.

Tagami would look over the documents the ambassador passed over, before putting his own signature on all the documents, albeit, in Ashigawan: 田込信介
