Dr. Mimi Gentili, the Secretary of State for Amali, would be in attendance at the coronation. She was here, at the very least, to gather an understanding of the reclusive nation, and to further understand their agenda by opening up even this much. Adorned in a bright purple dress, with a cut up to just above the knees, with more modest jewelry than most of the other attendees. Her hair was far shorter, too, being in the style of sculpture cut.
Her route would consist of a plane flight into the Republic of Koi, followed by a train ride into the nation of Praeca. A small entourage of other diplomats would accompany her, dressed similarly in high fashion that was required of them.

The Gaelian party would comply with the request to leave their shoes even if Zane grumbled in defiance. Queen McDonald would request to see the palace as she had never seen anything quite like the Heavenly Palace. Shamus and Zane both inquired if drinks would be served as they seemed less interested in the palace and began to notice the other foreign guests. Shamus and Zane would be taken by an escort to the local bar within the Palace where the wines, meads, and rums would be shown to them and they would be given chances to taste all of them to their hearts content. If they were not careful they would probably wake up the next day with a splitting headache. The Queen would be shown around the Palace by Marika, who would explain the statues and portraits, a few of which she would share some what seemed like personal stories. The Queen would see many an interesting room, and would even catch a glimpse of the Ball Room, though it was still being set up so she would not be able to enter it due to the large amount of servants moving in and out of it. Even the name of the Heavenly Palace seemed to correspond to Ashigawan legends. Taking off the shoes was not a problem - even if it's not silk that the floors are laid out with in Ashigawa, back at home they have a similar tradition. After reaching the private chambers provided for them, the Princess and the priest would ask if they can have a tour of the Place, and possibly an audience with the Heavenly Sovereign, saying that they have a gift for the royal family of Praeca. The guests would be given a tour, being able to see the statues and rooms of the Palace. They would be informed that the Heavenly Family would receive them shortly. They were warned that it would likely take some time as there was business to be done by the Council.
Dante was glad for the rest and small bit of privacy afforded by the rooms. Flying halfway around the world to Nevarra, then taking a motorcar to Pracea took a lot out of the man, no matter how hard he tried not to show it. Even so, there was one thing Dante wished to do before the Coronation Ball. He walked the short distance across the hall to Jacques' room. Giving the door a soft knock, the face of his trusted advisor soon popped out. "Yes, your highness?" Jacques asked. "Jacques, I have a question to ask of our guide, but I wish to make sure it will not offend them," Dante answered, "I wish to collect some of the water from the natural springs in the caves." Jacques paused for a moment as he pondered the question. "I do not believe it would offend them, but you best let me ask, just in case." Dante, satisfied, called over his guide, and Jacques asked the question. The question would be met with some confusion. After a quick moment the group would be offered a choice of a variety of bottled waters, all harvested from the springs, some of them naturally carbonated. King Stanislaw IV was forced to politely decline the invitation, citing legislation from previous Sejms forbidding the King from leaving the country without express permission from the Sejm, as well as the beginning electoral season, noting that it'd be impossible to get the Sejm to work together long enough to permit him to attend. In his place, a couple of nobles in the House of Lords would attend, fitted with what would be considered back in Lusatia to be ostentatiously purple suits, possessing other similarly gaudy blue and red suits, of various designs. Along with their party, they also brought various fine wood furnishings hand-crafted, as well as a fine painting by one of Lusatia's leading artists, painted in the Impressionist style. The nobles would be well received and given appropriate housing. They would be informed that they would be allowed to give their gifts in a private meeting with the Heavenly Sovereign so that he would be able to thank them personally and privately. They would be offered tours of the Palace as well as access to the alcohol in the Palace. Dr. Mimi Gentili, the Secretary of State for Amali, would be in attendance at the coronation. The Elenria sent a representative of their own with the permission of Kumosenkan in response to the invitation, aiming to establish relations with the High Practics. It was a quiet form of sovereignty, one that the Elenrians treasured by sending an unprovocative, low-profile representative in the form of the Martial Kelipsi Leyn. Kelipsi himself was hardly an diplomat, being only a hundred and ninety years old, most of which he'd spent as an officer in Her Majesty's Territorials.
Nevertheless, he was eager to serve, so he'd made the trip here with haste. He wore formal Inselni dress: a cuirass with some colorful decorations that shielded his upper chest, accompanied by a pair of pauldrons, one of which bore the insignia of Kumosenkan Elenria. His arms and lower chest were wrapped in colorful fabric, ending at his waist, where he wore a belt with several pouches, a skirt that extended to his knees beneath it. His legs were wrapped in light armor, adorned with some simple decorations, representative of his age. His tail curled from behind, the upper portion clad in segmented armor while his wings remained bare.
He stood outside the entrance among the others, his arms tucked tightly behind as he complied to all rules, having left his ceremonial saber behind.

The twins made their way into the bar and began ordering some mead, the two began drinking and Shamus started prodding his brother, "You know that captain? I saw you look at her, you know her don't you?" Zane soured at his brother's insistence into his running with the Crimson Fleet. "She led a small detachment that assisted us in the beach landings of Southern Lusatia, those pirates are not the sort to fuck around and find out. They fought like hellions and I would be dead if not for Marika and her crew." Zane took a long drink from his mug before turning his one eye to his brother, "Does that satisfy you? I'd like to not think of the war." Shamus nodded and ordered another round and the two began drinking away.
Queen McDonald was fascinated by everything she was being shown, when Marika began going into more personal stories, Queen McDonald gave a puzzling look and tilted her head asking, "Captain Marika, forgive me but...how...old are you?"

(Sorry for taking so long, I never noticed the second page of this thread lol)
Jacques and Dante both let out a small sigh before answering. "It's...merely a religious request. Water is very sacred to us Franch, and my liege would prefer it if he could have it directly from the source."

There would once again be confusion and then the question would be asked if he had a particular interest in certain locations for there was water a plenty around. If he wanted a spring there were several nearby.

The Inselni chose to tour the capital and palace, figuring it would do him well to first acquaint himself with the local surroundings and immediate culture before he approached its leadership. Already he knew he had a lengthy report of the surroundings to bring back when he returned to the Elenria, but that was for the trip back- for now he took in the sights, asking the guide of the sights and culture in the capital.

The Inselni would get their tour of High Prae. It was sort of like stepping back in time to a Renaissance City. The electric lights in the city would glow, being the only sources of outdoor light. The Low Pratics would be scrambling around, hand signs moving quickly as they communicated and traded with each other. The High Pratics in the city were easy to spot, usually being surrounded by armed knights. Several of the sights around the city were several towers and the main theatre. Street musicians would play some music. The Inselni would face some interested looks, outsiders having not been in Praeca for millennium.

Kelipsi observed the ancient city with a sense of respectful reverence. His mother had once mentioned the old sights of Aundui Bay in her time and described a shining field of lights where the hum of old songs floated above the the roar of the ocean's entrance to the harbor. He briefly wondered if this was anything close to what she'd mentioned. The towers and theater reminded him of the Bay Forum and the dozens of ancient lighthouses that dotted the coast, though admittedly the much darker surroundings gave the area a much more eerie sentiment. He paid no mind to the looks he earned by walking about, considering how to dictate his report for later. When he felt finished with the capital's presence, he asked his guide to guide him to the Palace, making a short request about any formalities that he might need attending to as he entered.

As Dante knelt down to take the water, he recited a small prayer. "Blessed Lady of the Marshes, and of Waters everywhere, I thank thee for this opportunity," Dante chanted, before taking the water in his small vial. "Truly," he said, taking the hand of his guide, "Truly, I thank you for this opportunity, my friend."

Eventually the guests would be brought back to the main hall where the ball was to take place. As everyone arrived they would see the nobility of Praeca all around, some holding wine glasses, others eating some deep red fish. It certainly would seem like a scene out of history. There were some well dressed butlers who were serving the nobility silently, as a band in the corner was seen, and heard, preparing to play. The guides of the foreigners would lead them through the hall, introducing them to various members of the nobility, who would for the most part seem disinterested, though a few showed some interest in the guests, engaging in some small talk. After several minutes the lights would dim as the doors to the upper balcony would open and the band would take up their instruments. As the music started slowly the Ten'nō and Kōgō would descend the stairs to the main floor, holding hands before beginning the slow dance. As the song sped up they would continue the dance, complimenting each other, seeming to glide around the floor. All attention was on them, even the guides wouldn't speak. At the second verse the Taikōs would enter the floor with their own partners, circling the Sovereigns in the center. As the song reached the climax more nobles joined the dance. Finally as it slowed to an end the nobles slowly broke away, until only the Sovereigns were dancing in the center. With the end the Sovereigns bowed and a light applause rippled through the crowd. With the first dance done the band switched to more ambient music as the conversation started up once again. Each guest would get a chance to meet the Sovereigns in a social setting as both mingled with the nobility, drinking wine and eating the hors d'oeuvres. A few would also be invited to dance, by those whom their guides would inform them were on the young side. The food and wine would be constantly refilled, never running low. If one was not careful, it would be quite easy to drink more than one was used to. It seemed as though anytime a glass was low there was a servant there to refill it.
