After a few hours the Ashigawans would be escorted to the Throne Room. Sitting on an ornate throne was the Heavenly Sovereign himself. The room was mostly empty, a few armored guards holding halberds lined the walls, but they were respectfully looking away. However behind the throne stood another figure with a sword at their waist and a harsh look upon their face. The guide of the Ashigawans would bow before the throne. "Your Majesty the representatives of the Ashigawan Empire have arrived."
He would nod and wave his hand, causing the guide to step to the side. "Welcome to my domain. I heard that you requested this meeting because you have a gift for me?"

As the Princess and the priest come up as close as was allowed to the throne, the priest would set down the long ornate wooden box, before both of them knelt down and bowed - the highest display of respect in Ashigawa.
"Heavenly Soverign, it is the greatest honor to be in the presence of the leader of the people who founded Ashigawa," the Princess said. Then the priest spoke - "Please, accept this gift as an offering, and a humble token of our eternal gratitude." As he was saying that, he opened the box, and raised up from it a ceremonial katana sword, with beautifully decorated handle and sheath, both with jewels and miniature scenes from Ashigawa history painted on.

The figure behind the throne would step forward and take the sword and look at it before handing it to Anasutashi. He would look at the sword himself. "It certainly catches the eye," he finally said, handing it back to the figure who would once again stand behind the throne. "It is certainly a nice gift to receive before my coronation. Your gift is welcome. Was that all for your audience or is there something else that is on your minds?"

"Should Ten'nō need anything of the surface world, people of Ahsigawa shall confide in the honor of serving our esteemed Shujins," the princess said, still having her feet under her and her forehead barely an inch from the floor in the most respectful of Ashigawan bows. "We have and will continue to pray for the grace of your majesty." They then waited in that same position for the Heavenly Sovereign to ask them something else or to let them go, as if they were but servants, rather than the highest members of the ruling class of their homeland.
With all their actions, both the princess and the priest have displayed their utmost respect to the Heavenly Sovereign. It was clear both as a summer day and a moonlit night: they saw the Praeci as living gods. Even if "Heavenly" was just a title to the Sovereign, to Ashigawans he really was the ruler of Heaven itself.
